Runner-up in the Division go up?

Any issues with ground grading or side ways movement?

Karen - We need to know.  :)

Would love to go and watch KL v Bedford. From a personal POV I would love to see Bedford go up, got mates there and like what Rocco has done.

We have fancy dress day Saturday, end of season tradition.

We need Baldock to beat WGC and us win to finish 4th.

You've been on a great run, only 2 against the form defeats since November.

Continuity has been the key for us. For the first 2 months we had so many faces in and out, including our 2 strikers a leaving, the manager going to camp Bastian, etc. But once we settled down it's made such a difference. Lads have been amazing, onwards to next season hopefully strengthen and learn from mistakes.

Kings Langley or Bedford?

2nd vs 3rd.

Level on points.

Last game of the season.

One promotion spot at stake.

No pressure there then.

LEVERSTOCK GREEN 1-2 TRING ATHLETIC

Admission £6.00 Prog £1.00 CB £2.50 Tea/coffee £1.00 each

A good crowd here at Pancake Lane, helped no doubt by Watford's early kick-off and Hemel having finished last week. A typical end-of-season game with LG long since assured of safety and Tring also having nothing to play for. First blood to Tring after 32 minutes, LG equalised minutes after the restart with Tring striking the decisive blow much later on. LG8 was lucky not to get himself red carded for arguing while being cautioned and it was a shame that some of the visiting contingent found it necessary to barrack LG10 for apparently whinging before getting mouthy with one of the LG officials who took offence to the language used. As if that wasn't bad enough, LG11 didn't seem particularly keen on joining the rest of his teammates for the warmdown.

Very fitting that I end my season where it started all those months ago, but some of their players do need to have a look at their attitude. :(

A report from 'Dr Love' from another forum.

Hatfield Town 0-4 St Margaretsbury
Spartan South Midlands Premier

Hatfield started with ten men, and were two down before finally getting up to a full 11 midway through the first half. Thereafter, whilst the visitors clearly held the upper hand, their passing and general attacking play was clearly below their best. A lively finish saw two more goals added late on.

The standing round the ground is thankfully elevated due to the cycle track and as such viewing is better than many athletics stadia. Not a great view from the seats though thanks to some very large supports for the roof. A friendly welcome to the ground and it will be interesting to see where they end up next season.
