Irishadrian
I understand that Bucks County Council acting as Highway Authority will withdraw their objections on highway grounds to the granting of permanent permission to remain to the Khalsa Secondary Academy In Stoke Poges This meeting is on 7th May If this is so then they will withdraw their interest in other sites which could help us greatly. BFR
If the Khalsa School gets to stay in Stoke Poges, there is still the small matter of a number of other Free Schools due to open in 'Slough' in the next 2 years which require a suitable site. The decision next week doesn't correlate with plans for Arbour Park.
brighton_rebel
Why not just knock down the whole of Slough and re-build different fenced off areas where people don't have to mix with those that aren't the same as them. I'm sure there's a word for this.

A Rebel and a Saint
Seems the school application is being recommended again for refusal on noise issues. Therefore the only logical conclusion is that no more school can be built anywhere. You can't build them in towns or villages because of noise and traffic and you can't build them in the countryside because they won't be accessible to students. Genius. mann
But in the opinion of Stoke Poges residents it's alright to put it next to a nursing home as long as they do not have to listen to their young doing what all other youngsters do Seems the school application is being recommended again for refusal on noise issues. epicrebel
They don't want to loose there free coach travel for there kids to Maidenhead, Wycombe and of cause Slough ect. Then when an application goes in to put a school on our site it also should be rejected on the traffic and noise issue.
