Again Broxbourne cancel the game after league let them away with the previous no show after giving them special dispensation earlier in the season, and they want us to go to them on Saturday so they can field all their Ware players!! Absolute joke, recent meeting with league no Brox representative it's a shambles and the league are encouraging it. I hope they are as forgiving in the future when teams 'can't get a side'

For the record FC Broxbourne Borough de-registered all 38 players that left in the exodus to Ware

Regardless of that fact (and of course I'm sure they wouldn't dream of playing ringers) it should never have been rescheduled in the first place and certainly shouldn't be even a consideration this time, this is not our problem

If the South Mids let FC Broxbourne Borough continue next season I fear for their reputation and future.

Winslow United offered FC Broxbourne Borough a later kick off and also a Friday night kick off, their response was we will pay HALF your traveling expenses if you come to us on Saturday (I'll let that sink in for a minute) HALF of our traveling expenses, you should be offering to pay all of our traveling expenses and also all of the Winslow United players are unavailable from Friday evening, some offer that is!!!

FC Broxbourne Borough should be severely fined and warned in the future (if they aren't already) that if there is another repeat of this that will be kicked out of the South Mids and their record will be expunged and they won't ever be allowed to take part in any South Mids competitions in the future.

They are an absolute joke of a club who just can't be bothered to travel to Winslow for a game, I'm not sure what the problem is but this is not a problem of Winslow United's anymore, this needs to be dealt with to the nth degree and they need to have the book chucked at them.

They managed to raise a team on Tuesday night and beat Southall and they also managed to raise a team on the Thursday 2 day's after the day Winslow United were supposed to play them on the Tuesday and got them to Kings Langley.

They are an embarrassment to themselves and to the South Mids, unfortunately if the South Mids are seen to nothing about this then the integrity of all South Mids competitions unfortunately will have to be questioned, they are setting a very bad precedent that they really don't want to be setting.

Winslow United have been left very disappointed and out of pocket not once but twice now.

Listen it's hard to keep any club running at this level and I wouldn't wish to make it any harder for anyone but some clubs take the p!ss and the league seem to let some clubs do it and others not. All I'm saying is this isn't our problem and shouldn't be made so. League needs to tread carefully or set a precedent already no action for first no show! What's to stop teams in future not at full strength just deciding not to play games when it doesn't suit? As for them having lots of games in a short period, haven't we all?! And also that's cos league did them favour earlier in the season. We recently had 6 away on the bounce. Pn

I don't disagree with anything you say but was just pointing out that London Lions have 'transgressed' on many more occasions than FCBB this season....

Agreed 100% my post wasn't a response to yours really just an extension of my thoughts.

Winslow Fox and Winslow Boy are obviously upset and want 'sanctions' against FCBB. Quite rightly IMHO. However, on that basis London Lions should have already been thrown out of the SSMFL...

We are just hoping, if London Lions Reserves cannot raise a team for Monday, thet inform us in plenty of time, so a Bank Holiday is not ruined for all.

Surely one of the more interesting points here is that Broxbourne have applied fro promotion to the Premier Division. Do the Premier Division seriously want teams in the division that are not prepared to travel 1hr 10 minutes (according to google maps) for a game of football?

Completely sympathetic toward Winslow, who based on their average attendances, are set to lose £350 in gate money alone. This is not acceptable. Any fines issued to Broxbourne regarding this matter should be reimbursed to Winslow, along with the 3 points.

SSML Cockfosters P-P Holmer Green
My first 'p-p' in 3 seasons (fortunately it only involved a 200 yard walk). Started hammering it down at about 6:40 & at least 5 areas of standing water on the pitch (& still raining hard) when I got there @ 7:40 - no complaints at decision. Fitting that the Chalk Lane pitch should have the last say on 'Fosters season - no realistic chance of this game being played unless the season is further extended.
