Errr...I was born two years before you Fleetboy, and I know who Gary Davies is!(and by the way, Stone Roses are WAAAAAAYYYYYY better than RATM-although I like them too!)

I was born in late 87 <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Without wanting to start the whole RATM Vs Stone Roses arguement again RATM produced 4 brilliant albums to the stone roses 1(the other album was sh*t). The stone roses may well have haid the potential to be better but they didn't realise it.

The Stone Roses made one classic album, and one very good album that became the victim of its own hype.

 

RATM have probably made one good album (the debut) and nothing else of note since.

 

To be honest, you sound exactly like Claire does when she's trying to tell us how brilliant Will Young and Gareth Gates are. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

And they made proper B-sides as well.

 

B-sides like Standing Here, Mersey Paradise and The Hardest Thing In The World, most bands would kill for material as good as that to put on A-sides, let alone B-sides.
