One things for certain we will have to do a better job on Rugby's Jamie Towers who was a constant threat with his pace and strength down our left flank.

Seems he started the season in the Conference North with Leamington, was an unused sub once, then transferred to mid table Barwell in the Northern premier for a couple of games and then transferred to Rugby for their promotion push.

A couple of concerns is Ryan Parson's fitness and Dan Sintim's availability.

I would imagine it will be one of these two who will have the job of marking Towers.

From asking Ryan on twitter he gave himself a very good chance for tonight and I think having him in the side will be a huge lift to the team with the threat Rugby pose down our left

I think that we will be a lot harder to breakdown tonight with Wooz and Ryan playing and having Dobbo further up the pitch we will arguably create more (nothing against Jake Parsons but the fitness for 70 mins wasn't there unfortunately)

The amount of clock watching I have done since arriving at work at 8 is incredible......its going to be a long old day

Another stunning away performance at Rugby. Brilliant all over the pitch especially second half. George Short was brilliant as was Sean Fraser but the whole team gave their all. Amazing.

Anything can happen Monday, so let's give it a good go.

Some talk that Kettering were over capacity tonight which could cause problems on Monday.

Stunning game where until the first goal, it could have gone either way, but once in the lead we did the business and killed the game off.

The defence nullified Rugby's strike force and as ever Woooooooz was massive.

Now Monday is the big one - lots of focus and make sure the job is done in the professional way we are coming to expect, full 90 mins of effort and concentration.

P.S.

Niall Cooper in goal swung the game in Sloughs favour after his theatrical dive for a second game in a row which totally alienated him with the Slough fans and lead to his own demise after the first goal went in and it was down hill for him from their - even tried picking a fight at the end of the game - Niall thanks for the motivation - you won the game for us.

Proud of the lads tonight,What a brilliant professional display by the whole team for the full 90.

Rugby were put to the sword and outclassed.

If we can play anywhere near as good on Monday,Kettering are in for some game.

Don't want to single anyone out of the Slough team,as all them deserve high praise and were quality but I do feel

George Short should get a special mention ,as I've given him a bit of stick about some of his performances on here.

Tonight he played his best game in a Slough shirt and was awesome.

Man of the match for me.Although it seems unfair to pick anyone out,as all the players played their part and it made for a superb team effort.

What a cracking atmosphere in the ground, too, with Slough fans in good voice and like the third man.The fans did the club proud, too !

Absolutely awesome!I've been watching Slough for many years now,& that's right up there with the wins

over Milwall & Walsall.

Defended as a team(Did Jake make a save?),& classic counter- attacking, which is why we've scored over

100 goals.

Difficult to pick out a M.O.M.,but as has been said before,a special mention to George Short who tonight went from a BOY to a MAN.

One match to go.You can do this!

"Treat those how you wish to be treated yourself"

That is the tag line on the rugby keepers twitter.

Well done ed smith you certainly treated him the way he treated others.

Superb game.

The dominated us in the first 15 of 2nd half. But thanks to a great rearguard, we held em off and battered em down other end.

My mom woozley (wonder if remembered to take dk out of his pocket before he left)
