Slough v Chertsey

No pressure? Get real. 6/1 favourites to win the league at the start of the season.

Anything other than promotion will be a massive failure of a season.

That said, I repeat, good luck!

Rother whoever you are... you are incredibly boring.... maybe concentrate on your own side.....

It was certainly a bit tense yesterday even when we knew Barton were losing and you could sense this on and off the pitch. However we got the job done and all credit to the lads for getting us in this position from where we were at the start of January.

Credit to Chertsey too they gave us a very tough game and they did their club proud. Good luck to them for the future.

The first half want particularly convincing but second half we were all over them without the killer touch in the box. Woozley was a welcome return to the team definitely and it was good to see Steve Duff get some game time he looks useful. It was good to see the penalty go in too after our record of them this season.

So we go on to Rugby. We've got to believe and back the boys for the full 90 regardless of the score. Anything can happen in the playoffs so we have to be there to push the team on. We have to go there like we did earlier in the season and play with the freedom going forward that got us in this position.

Must be time for our traditional balloons etc on Tuesday too?

Believe, COYR!

Really hard work yesterday.............and that was just watching !

As has been said we need to get back the form of three weeks or so ago for Tuesday and it will not be a miracle if we win...........just a great result on the day.

MOTM yesterday was Wooz but Sean Fraser not far behind............and credit to JD for his calmness in taking the spot kick

Roll on Tuesday.

hopefully we can have more days like yesterday in terms of getting the youth teams in and encouraging the families to come along. hopefully 1st home game of next season something similar can be sorted out. most of those who turned up seemed to be really interested in the match

Good grief, you must have a very thin skin if I've touched a nerve there.

Still, if the co-manager considers making the play offs fulfils the ambitions of the season, who am I to argue.

And to answer earlier questions, why wouldn't a Windsor fan take an interest in Slough Town? And wish them luck?

I don't get the mutual contempt that many fans of the 2 teams seem to have.

To me it's childish and pathetic, but it's pretty obvious that some of you guys have made up your minds I am one of those.

Yes I'll have a bit of banter (isn't that part of the fun of football?) but the fact that Windsor are below Slough in the pecking order is obviously a big deal to Slough supporters. Why? Who cares? Do you really care which league Windsor are in? Does it make you feel better about yourselves for some reason?

It doesn't matter a jot. We are non league football fans, experiencing our own ups and downs down the decades.

I genuinely wish you luck against Rugby.

Take it or leave it.
