Slough v Chertsey

I don't think it will be the same game. Until George scored Chertsey played with 10 men behind the ball to try and nick a point. After the goal they had to push for an equaliser and that was when we carved them open. With nothing to play for except enjoyment, are they going to adopt the same tactics? I think it will be more open from the start.

There's no pressure on us. A few months ago we had a period of looking like mid-table also rans. Now we have a chance of the playoffs. That's a fantastic turnaround so whatever happens now it's been a good season.

No pressure? Get real. 6/1 favourites to win the league at the start of the season.

Anything other than promotion will be a massive failure of a season.

That said, I repeat, good luck!

No Rebels fan believed we were title favourites. Even if the playoff campaign isn't successful it will still have been a great season. Glad to see Windsor still take an interest in the local clubs above them.

solid enough performance with a few scary moments 1st half and a much better 2nd half in terms of sustaining pressure although we were wasteful in the final 3rd of the pitch

bring on Rugby although we will need to find the form we showed during our great run of form rather than what we have produced the last 3 games if we are to progress to the final

Perhaps being underdogs will suit us but it does appear to be a mountain to climb on our current form. However you never know, football does spring surprises.

Our players are just as good as the other play off sides and if each player puts in 100% ,there's no reason we can't shock Rugby and whoever the finalists are.

It was good to see Ryan Parsons running about before the game, under the watchful eye of Super Kev,it would be a great boost if he became available.

Thought Steve Duff did well when he came on and offers us an alternative to James Dobson, due to his willingness to tackle and his all round strength.Thought Dave Woozley and Guy Hollis were our best players today.Had a tad of good fortune with the victory.Let's hope we make our own luck in the next two games.

Come on boys,you can do it ! ! !

Just to clarify Mark, there are no troubles at Chertsey. To compete in the central league, you need a healthy budget to match the rest. We unfortunately do not have this but will regroup and hopefully come back stronger.

I have a lot of time for Bakes and Unders and hope

..and if Windsor were in our league, they'd be right down there with Ashford and Chertsey. It's all perspective, isn't it?

Pre-season odds mean nothing. Considering we have a new squad with additions here and there and a new management team interacting with the fans, I'd say this season was a success regardless of promotion.

Well done to the players and managers in achieving our pre-season goal of the play-offs.

For me Wazza, Wooz and Guy Hollis were our best players with Wazza getting the vote because everything good about our play starts and finishes with him which has been pretty much the case for most of the season.

Very much the underdogs on Tuesday against a Rugby team that are on fire and banging in the goals for fun.

Big ask but in a one off game anything can happen.

COYR!!

Johnnojudo, I thought your team were a credit today and showed some great fighting spirit which will only stand you in good stead which ever league you end up in.

As you say, without a budget it's always going to be a struggle and perhaps going down a re-grouping will help you to come back stronger in the future.
