Cray Wanderers v Enfield Town

Last match of the season and Town are away to Cray Wanderers, the basement team, in the Ryman Premier Division, still needing at least a point for safety.

No games are easy, particularly in this situation, and our players need to be focussed and fired up right from the start in this crucial match. They need to show how much playing for Enfield Town in the RPL means to them, and put in a top draw performance to win this match for all the loyal Town supporters who have cheered them on through thick and thin this season.

Cray have already been relegated, so they will be playing for pride. They have had a very disappointing season and have conceded 135 goals (an average of 3 per match) in their 45 matches to date. We need to capitalise on their defensive weaknesses and take our chances.

There will be plenty of vocal support for our players tomorrow and we need to re-create that brilliant atmosphere seen at W&F last Saturday.

We played Cray on Monday. On paper they have some half-decent players but most will be at different clubs next season so I can't see much of a pride element, plus they will want to avoid injury. I'd be amazed if you don't get what you need from this game.
