Ian
Currently 1-1 but match held up as an ambulance has had to be called for one of the assistants who has been taken ill :-(
Ian
54 mins Egham now 2-1 ahead. Unconfirmed rumours are the assistant suffered a heart attack. I hope it's nothing that serious and he's ok.
Ian
66 minutes Egham 3-1 up. Barring an amazing Daventry come back it is Dunstable in pole position going into the final Saturday.

Chris
Finished 4-1. Strange season, 4 teams still in a chance of winning it with one play-off place still-up for grabs!
staines_rebel_Jr
This has to be one of the closest league title battles in years. 4 teams with the possibility of winning the league (even though only 1 team knows they will be champions I they win) Just think, if the weekend had been different and we got 6 points instead of 0 we would be second with great goal difference and just needing to better Dunstables result to be champions table as it stands 1st Dunstable 87 pts 2nd Rugby 86 pts (+49) 3rd Daventry 86 pts (+46) 4th Kettering 85 pts 5th Slough 80 pts (+49) 6th Barton 80 pts (+34) Just have to make sure we forget about everything that's happened so far this year and concentrate solely on the final game. Martin
Crazy league. With a relatively slow start we hauled ourselves back into it, we then had a disastrous December and hauled ourselves back into and now you look at and think if the ref had blown up seconds early at Daventry and we picked up full points at Easter we'd be a point clear! Still got to focus on Saturday. No complacency. Lets fly out of the blocks, play the way we can secure the play offs and see what happens
readingrebel
I can see Kettering rattling in quite a few goals at N. Greenford to nullify the other teams superior GD. This will mean at least one of the other 3 teams will have to win stop Kettering from winning the league. Hard one to call but I think Dunstable will get the win that they need. HEAVY TRUCKER
more interested that we get the three wins we need whoever the opposition is
SloughRebelBoy
Would it be such a bad thing if Kettering went up as Champions. I know, if we make the play offs, we will play Kettering away at some stage (albiet the first game or final)...
Ian
There's an update that the official taken ill at last night's game (suspected heart attack) is at home and recovering. Good news and I hope he's back running the line soon.
3spirit
Pains me to say it,really, but you have to admire Dunstable's achievement this season of making the play-off's or having the chance to be outright champions, considering they only got promoted to the Central division this season. As Slough is not going to win the title, out of all teams vying for the title,I would like to see Daventry get it,being that they've lead the way for most of the season and had that great cup run. However,I can understand where Rebel Matt is coming from, about avoiding Kettering. Whoever wins it outright, Slough now have to do it the hard way in finishing 5th [if?] but they can do it ! Come on you,Rebels!
