just kidding, I've only been watching slough for around 10 year (I'm only 20)

Gk

RB between Carbon and Sweeney (play with wingback its carbon, playing solid 442 its Sweeney)

CB Steve Daly

CB Dave Woozley

LB  Alex Haddow

RM Sinclair (early years)

CM Adam Martin

CM Darron Wilkinson

LM Glenn Harris or Mo Shariff

ST Ian Hodges

ST Buchannan or Burnell

This is only Slough players, surprised no one has mentioned Paul Merson as players played against us, he wasn't his best when he played us but still a great player.

You may only be young [hope that doesn't sound patronizing as it isn't mean't to be] but you can spot a good player and have the balance of the team right, but who is your goalkeeper?

My Dad always used to tell me Eric Young was the best player to come out of Slough Town. Anyone else got a view on this as he was a little before my time as a Slough player.

I was going to mention Eric Young (a bit before my time), but didnt he get his head injury playing for Slough (ever since then, he played with the head band)?

Yes Eric Young would get in most non league sides, what a defence that would have been had he been in John Delaney's  time.Though Slough had some great keepers, I suppose the best was Hendon's John Swanell who gained the most caps for England and GB.

It's way to difficult to name a perfect eleven, its personal choice and people will always disagree, but any team of mine would have the above mentioned 3 plus Roger Day,Steve Thomson and of course MERLIN otherwise known as Terry Reardon.

I think Hotspur would also have Terry Reardon in the same side... think he may have mentioned him once or twice also!!!

Anyone with an eye for talent would have him in their side so I am not surprised Hotspur mentioned him .

Of course... I expected nothing else... in fact you and Hotspur must know each other, as I think you have been supporting Slough for the same amount of time... and you both know your stuff.... you should get together and have a beer!!

I agree with every thing you have said lino just top class players also Bobby Hatt, and Les Hartridge who played along side John and Terry.

strikers Roger Connell,Joe Adams, and Dave Kemp  who also played with Eric Young at Wimbledon, Paul Barron was a fine goalie to Arsenal and Tim Turl was a top class full back.
