5 ex- Slough players you couldn't see why they were rated so high

Ha ha Turks.... he struggled at Aldershot also when he went there.... but was a vital part of a very successful Farnborough side that finished 3rd in the Conference, and got to the 3rd round of the FA Cup v West Ham....

 

I'm a fine one to talk,the fat lump of lard I've become now !,ha ha, but when Mark Turkington played for Slough,he did seem rather overweight,for playing in such a physically demanding position of centre of midfield,to me. He could pass a ball well,but struggled with the pace of the game.

He also had a good shot but mostly for Slough,it missed the target ! lol !

Was a close choice for me on keeper as Stuart Mackenzie was brilliant, also has the hardest hand shake I have ever encountered....

I never played with Dave Leworthy (i doubt Unders did either), but watched him plenty of times for Farnborough, and he was different gear, him and Simon Read, now that was a prolific partnership....

I seem to remember dave leworthy was top scorer for like 10 seasons in a row whilst at dover. His record was insane!
