Canvey 1 Hornchurch 1

A last minute equaliser kept us just about in the hunt for a play off place but we are now down to 6th and it's totally out of our hands, although if kingstonian beat Dulwich or draw, then we will be ok if we win.

If we do get to play offs it will be away from home in both games.

If Dulwich and Lowestoft both win we won't be going anyway.

We had two sent off today which is just unacceptable

Completely embarrassing in the manor they were sent off as well, Totally unacceptable, do not thing we will manage play-offs no matter what as I believe if we play like that against met police we will lose anyway.

All the sending offs were justified but from our two they were cheap and just let the rest of the team down.Well done to everyone that put a red shirt on in the second half great effort and unlucky not get all three points.

In a very competitive 1st period with no real chances,Canvey scored from a corner in what I thought was a very even half.

Regarding the sending offs,Frank I felt was rather unlucky,he didn't seem to do no more than grab their player after he had to fend off a couple of punches.

Stefen won't be proud of himself on the other hand,it was right in front of me and his attempted kick out while already on a yellow, then trying to go face to face summed up his performances of late.

I must say the 2nd half everyone to a man put a shift in,dominated the game and was extremely unlucky not to come away with 3 points.

It's out of our hands now,but what will be will be.

Don't write us off yet !

Oh dear, an entertaining game for all the wrong reasons. Nine against nine and one goal down made for an intriguing game with formation, game plan all going out the window. We had to work hard to get the equaliser in the last minute. The referee was a twat but to give him some credit was even handed in his awfulness!!!!! Its not in our hands any more, all we can do is win our last game (easier said than done given our recent form) and see how the other results go.we need a change of form and a miracle if we are to make the conference south next season, miracle's do happen sometimes, come on you urchins......

Disappointed. We know what is going to happen when we go to Canvey, we know that they are going to wind us up on the pitch with a view to getting our players sent off. It's happened before and it will probably happen again. I know it's difficult not to react when their player grabs Stefan by the throat but just stepping back would have given us a man advantage. Never mind.

Agree with EU above. Having said that, there were some players who did give 100% on the pitch yesterday. Rickie Hayles was immense, player of the season for us as far as I am concerned, some others as well. Martin Touhy looks to be getting match fitness back and is looking useful, that's going to be important to us.

We were looking good at the end, 9 a side made it a more open game and we deserved the equaliser although Canvey could have caught us on the break as we were pushing forward.

Met Police played well against us earlier in the season and the last game will not be easy. We really need to get behind the team in the last game.

not really  thinking about the play offs now  and not too sure  we would do  any better in con south  than last time the main group  of players  that have been involved  in the last 2 seasons  poor  home performances and seeming to  not turn up  for the start  of important games and make silly  unforced  mistakes will still be involved ,  it would  need  some big  changes in the team at the moment and maybe some painful ones   the team at the moment seems too set  in this way  of playing and looking stale at times in the home games   ... looking forward  to some of the new batch of young urchins  making their way  into  the first team in a few seasons time   and showing some  more  fight at home ........ noticed  again that apart  from maybe  half a dozen teams our crowds havnt been  that  bad  when looking  at the rest  308 on saturday and then   u see the likes of canvey now  only getting 343  for a hornchurch game on a bank holiday  monday

i think  rickie  wont be too far  off  from winning player  of the season from  a squad  that  promised  so much ( and i still think could have won the league ) to one that  tended to bottle it a bit  when  it was really  needed  at home since xmas
