BigDogCol
On Saturday, Hertford Town will be hosting their annual Fan's Day festivities with everybody gaining free entry as a thankyou from the Chairman to all the loyal fans, volunteers and staff. Last year, the attendance was 404 and we're hoping to beat that this year. There will be on pitch activities as well as pitchside attractions, games, live music, ice cream, bbq and fun for all the family before & after the game against Leverstock Green. With 36 goals in our last 6 games, entertainment is guaranteed! Doors open at 1200, kick-off at 3pm, all are welcome at The Park. Rebadiah Hongfield
Big Dawg, what happened this season? I was really expecting big things from Hertford. And what will happen this summer, a big re-think and push for the title next season?
BigDogCol
Big Dawg, what happened this season? I was really expecting big things from Hertford. And what will happen this summer, a big re-think and push for the title next season? A season of transition following the disastrous signing of Anstead and the fallout that followed with players and manager sacked. Getting some stability back now with new and existing players from last year. The attendances are still going up and hope for better next year. Just looking forward to Fan's Day and the World Cup in the summer now!

LoucasX
My take on the season. We ended last season with a deadly duo up front of Wade and Summers. Summers left for a bit of cash at St Mags. We had to play Wade at CB as we did not have anyone else. Anstead came, went, came back and went again.......in the mean time 2 long serving players left because they did not like Anstead. We got another striker who played great for 3 games then got injured for rest of season. So we were missing fire power up front. Not much else wrong though. Last year we were in a relegation scrap. This year we were never in relegation trouble, we have grown our attendances and improved our youth set up........great progress in my book! Next year I would, like to grow attendances further and continue improvements in youth set up. If we finish top half of table that would be a bonus. Weather forecast for fans day this Saturday is looking a bit ropey but even if I have to do it under a gazebo I will be doing a Greek BBQ......and that is worth coming for alone. Rebadiah Hongfield
Anstead is as smug as they come, and a season at st margs only made him worse. One player I'm happy to have out of ssml.

Jonno
Great player. Can't knock his record. Never been in a dressing room with him though so can't comment on character.
Monkey8
Credit to Lee Judges for bringing him in at a time when we had problems scoring goals...he was effectively a keeper playing up top for Wodson Park for fun! A great lad to have in your squad and like you say Jonno his record last year was outstanding. Clearly the move to Hertford Town didn't work out for one reason or another but from what I gather he is still highly thought of over there. BigDogCol
Well done to all involved in yesterday's Fan's Day at Hertford Town. An attendance of 312 watched our game vs Leverstock Green. 3 games in 8 days had clearly taken it's toll on our player's legs but everyone seemed to enjoy the Greek BBQ, the sideshows, magician and live bands which followed the game. The Stable End massive were as flat as the players but we'll recover and be in good voice for our last game vs Cockfosters next Saturday.

LoucasX
Was a fantastic day. Fans were not singing as much as normal because there was so much going on off the field! Was a great day and so nice to get an attendance over 300.
Uncle T
We also played 6 games in 14 days so we were in the same boat. I though we played really well and created a lot of chances and we deserved to win too. Hertford';s keep was the man of the match he made at least 4 really good saves to keep his team in the game. It was a good day out with the fun day and all the youth games and side shows, well done Hertford Town.
