I want to get down and watch them one last time, but if they start to take their foot off the gas now they're promoted I'll leave it. If you do go, let me know how they play and if they're worth one more watch.

Wednesday 23rd April

DIVISION ONE

0-2 Southall v Bedford

Bedford were all over Southall in the first half but Southall were much better in the second half and had a penalty saved and after that Bedford took the game to Southall and deserved the 2 0 win which I was told keeps there title hopes alive.

Southall FC need to make some changes in the summer me thinks.

Very good win for us last night. Have Ris Rangers very tough opponents in the 3 games we've had this season. Going on last nights game they're prob only 2 players away from challenging top 4 next season.

Ref was good first half but got very card happy 2nd half which was a shame, young so with experience he'll defo step up

BALDOCK TOWN 3-0 KENTISH TOWN

All three goals were scored in the first half – the first while Captain Spatch was attending to the needs of the numerous Hitchin officials there to presumably inspect the possible damage that Baldock would do to the pitch before the landlords’ game on Saturday, the second a penalty and the third a long-range lob. The second half was a very different story as both sides attacked at will; KT were much more positive and when Baldock did manage to penetrate their defence, they were constantly thwarted by what could only be described as the offspring of a spider and an octopus.

DIVISION ONE

3-0 Baldock Town v Kentish Town

An additional comment from another Forum from Sjj2112 who's still hob knobbing I see:

Also at this one. I was sat with a couple of the Kentish Town officials who told me that the aforementioned spidopus is actually their left back playing in goal due to a shortage of players...
