Rugby were the much better team and thoroughly deserved their win, I know that everyone going to start talking about the keepers antics but that shouldn't detract from rugbys excellent performance that nullified us throughout.

 

My tuppence worth. Horrific dive from keeper, no contact IMHO but ed smith shouldn't have put himself in that situation.

Bad day at the office. The Ed Smith incident was 3 yards directly in front of me and, irrespective of what people say about the keeper, it was a definite red card challenge - hard and followed through on the keeper. A silly challenge that will cost Ed a place in the final should that eventuality happen.

 

It's a shame the defeat and that incident will overshadow an absolute wonder goal from Clurgy. That's goal of the season voting unnecessary.

Silly, needless stuff from Smith. Yes the keeper milked the situation but who wouldn't. The red card shouldn't distract from the fact that Slough were very much second best today and the visitors should have won by a more comfortable margin.

Very bad day at the office. Did not get going at all today and Rugby deserved winners - and should have gone on to win by more. Thought we massively missed Dave Woozley's leadership today and lost the midfield battle totally.

 

Massive match Monday now - must win or it could be out of our hands (unless Rugby do us a favour by beating Barton).

 

Also if we do make play-offs I think playing away will be better for us.

Risbridger must start Monday in my opinion, we badly missed Rumbold for the first time since his departure today... Also, we paid for Foulser and Woozley being missing as well, need at least 1 of them in the starting 11!

 

Anyone know how bad Parsons injury is?

 

Onwards and upwards, still in our hands, Cornell and Dyer should start every game we have left now to give themselves a chance at a partnership.

Interesting one as we did miss woozley however felt sintim was our best outfield player on the day. Rugby deserved their win no doubt about it. Whatever smith did the keeper milked it which is disappointing when you consider how much better they were than us on the day. Massive 2 games now - disagree that smith should be left out not to give the others a chance of a partnership. If we do that and lose the next 2 we don't get in the play offs anyway. Would rather get to the final and then worry about it on the day.

Lets stop this talk about not getting to the play-offs We have to play Aylesbury who for several weeks now have been playing virtually a reserve side 10 first team players are injured or unavailable including almost all the ex Slough players and we have to play Chertsey who have conceded well over 100 goals and have the leagues worst GD (-75) If we cant get 6 points from these games then we really don't deserve anything I remain confident that we will make the play-offs .

Whats this about Ed Smith being out of the play off final. Does his ban not start on Monday is it because our next game is within 48 hours, so too early too kick in?

The FA take a very poor view on flares and clubs can get into serious trouble if their supporters use them. I think Chesham have already been fined this year for repeated use of them.

 

With our ground hopefully on the way we don't want to get any negative press.
