Daventry v Potters Bar

Cannot see beyond an easy win for Daventry's purple gathering.

Egham v Barton

Possibilities of a draw or a win for Egham.

Kettering v AFC Hayes

I can see nothing but a win for Kettering.

Have to laugh at some berk on the Daventry twitter feed called John Dunham.

Saying that Daventry are the best team by far over the whole season and are worthy champions.

Can someone tell the berk that they still have 5 games to go.

I'd say the Barton result isn't a little bit of good news, think its great news as with our GD we can now afford a loss in the last 3 games if we win 2 other games and still make play-offs if were not in a chance of winning the league.

Gives us a little bit of breathing space should we need it.

ARAAS,

It goes without saying that if Daventry win the league they will be worthy champions, not with 5 games to go!

I think what ARAAS is saying, in a round about way, is that he would prefer Barton and not Kettering to get into the play-offs.

Personally, I would prefer to avoid playing Kettering in the play-offs but Barton drawing tonight can only be good news for us.

Any team dropping points is great news for us, whoever it is!!!

If Barton had won tonight and Kettering win Thursday we would be going in to Saturday with 2 points separating 5 teams, one loss and play offs might be out of our own hands... surely that has to be the first concern, rather than who we might play etc... lets get there first.

If Kettering get above Barton and we end up playing them in a play off game, I will be delighted, as it means we have got something we thought was a million miles from us in January...

It then comes down to potentially 2 one off games in that anything can happen!!!

When it comes to play offs makes no difference who you play, as each team will be up for it, and they are like cup finals....

Good night for Slough, but plenty more twists and turns to go!!!

Its funny how our outlook has changed.

A few weeks ago, we'd have just been happy to be in / sneak into the play offs and been happy with any teams around us dropping points.

Whoever we get to play in the play offs, is going to be difficult, all strong sides, so Barton dropping points for me is a good thing.
