Ashford have loads of parking and it is a cracking ground, nice bar with tables outside so really good on a sunny day which hopefully will be the case tomorrow

Impressive result as Ashford have been on the up lately. Sounds like we did a professional job and that's another one ticked off.

 

Another huge game next Saturday which could have massive impact on the final shake up in this league.

Amazing start, couldnt believe what I was seeing. We came out the blocks playing some really good football. Ed Smith (for the short time on the pitch) looked quality. I hope his substitution was just to give him a rest because game was (in theory) over and not an injury. 

 

Also, worth a mention to George Short, but the whole team deserve credit, albiet, I could see why Ashford are where they are. 

 

You can only beat the team in front of you, and we did it well.

 

Thought our following today was fantastic, 90% of the crowd must have been Rebels.

Ed was one booking away from getting a suspension in the play-offs should we make them, which is why he was taken off early as today was the last match it could happen.

 

Agree on George. JD will grab the headlines and rightly so, but thought George was very good today.

Started like a train and went 3 up within 7 minutes.

 

Restricted the Ash Trees to hardly a shot all game and ran out comfortable 5-0 winners.

 

Good performances all round and difficult to pick a MOTM but my short list is DJ for his hat trick, Guy Hollis, Wazza and George Short.

 

We are really playing with a lot of confidence and next week's game is a real 6 pointer against Rugby.

Not the game I expected today,even with Ashford being bottom of the table.No disrespect to Ashford but we had won the game when the third goal went in.

 

A good win for the team without us having to break sweat too much and another confidence boost for the games ahead.

Well done guys. Great result. I agree that George was superb again today as we're many of the team. Sensible to protect Ed from a potential yellow that could have seen him suspended. Tremendous support again.

Ashford is one of my favourite clubs in this league, so very much hope they survive.

 

They very kindly allowed us to do a flag collection, although we didn't really organise ourselves very well.

They also included an article on the walks in their programme and gave a very kind mention to Pete Riley in the opening pages.
