Nice to meet you also Savagebee, Hanwell have done really well this season and are a hard team to beat. Today we had too many players off their game, and if i'm honest  it was a dissappointing performance from us, but lets not forget it's only a game. cheers and good luck

next season.

Ampthill played well in patches they had a good spell towards the end of the first half if you can keep that bunch of players together and add a couple of new players you will be up there or there abouts again next season.

Your number 9 was a handful for most of the afternoon.

Heard they were struggling to get a team out today and Phil Martin had to play one wing and the gaffer Damo on the other. Had that one down as a home banker. Spoke to couple of their lads who said they played very well today, didn't mention you had that many chances interestingly haha course they would leave that bit out.

They did ok, good win for them, game was very dead, 2nd half we had a 10/15 minute spell that we created 5 or 6 chances that could've put the game out of sight. They scored a free kick that our stand in gk got nowhere near as his wall and positioning was poor, good finish though. We were chasing the game, left our cbs exposed 4 v 2 and they walked it in.

Always found Bucks a tough team to play even when they've been lower down, hate playing away there, long journey, changing room a shoe box, pitch rock hard.

Have to say Bartons pitch has seen better days, Barton bobble played a big part today. Also thought Ref was poor, very soft free kicks, missed 2 pen shouts, lost her head towards the end as soon as she started booking players, felt her communication with players was poor, hopefully she'll improve with a bit of experience.

Update on 3.07pm kick offs.

I have been informed that the following will be kicking off at 3.07pm this afternoon

Premier Division

AFC Dunstable v St Margaretsbury

Colney Heath v Hertford Town

Hadley v London Colney

Hanwell Town v Ampthill Town

London Tigers v Cockfosters

Tring Athletic v Hillingdon Borough

Division One

Baldock Town v Arlesey Town Reserves

Welwyn Garden City v Amersham Town

Credit to these Clubs and shame on the others.

I would have expected the Competition to have made this compulsory.

Our secretary Andy raised this at league meeting asking if we could, they said yes but wouldn't make it a league thing then few days later they sent out a message about it. We did ours as planned.

With all every due respect to be up there next season we don't need to add anyone. We had 3 of our starting 11 missing Saturday but absolutely no excuses on the day. (When we had our strongest team available we beat you twice and drew) And that is a massive compliment to Hanwell in that you were the best team over the whole season and deserved to win the league.

But we have the players to win the division and compete in the southern league they just need to be available every week and not suspended.

And in saying that it is a credit to Ray and the team for being so consistent. The best side over 9 months won the league undoubtably. Great management and quality players. I happen to think we are better equipped to compete at the next step but no doubt you will strengthen in the right areas and be a top 10 team straight away if not top 6. It's getting there not staying there that's the hard part, and Hanwell have done it superbly. Best of luck next season ...not that you need it.

Well I hope you keep hold of those players then for next season.

Goodluck for next season.

I would be very very very happy with a mid table finish next season to be honest.

Given your location, I'd say Southern League. You'll have the delights of AFC Hayes, North Greenford, Northwood, Uxbridge and (possibly) Ashford on your doorstep as well as the mouth-watering possibility of visits from Kettering, Rugby and Slough.

The other sides don't travel anywhere near as well, but gates should be a lot higher than ILN.

Enjoy :)

Only two teams get relegated from the Premier division. We got another point yesterday against Berko almost safe.
