Hodgie and Spencer put the Rebels 2 up in two minutes, Spencer(pen) and Miller put Slough 4-1 up at half time Murphy(OG).

 

I never felt we had killed them off and they looked a constant threat. Harris and Daly both went off early Barras also went off dunno if he was injured. All round it was an ok performance -Still room for improvement!

Well last week - NO NOISE, This week - SOME NOISE, Id say that can be classed as an improvement and not an over exaggeration.

Got some noise out of us in the second half I felt due to the fact that the opposing fans were making some noise down the other end despite there not being a huge amount of them they still got behind their team when 4-1 & 4-2 down so credit to them.

 

Let's see what our away atmosphere is like at Horsham.... Stortford away again please!

Our defence looked shaky throughout, but all credit for not panicking despite several forced substitutions. Bromley had only conceded 11 goals in the league this season, so putting 4 past them shows that our attack, even without Boot, is doing OK. Injuries must be a big concern, as apart from those who hobbled off, Haddow also seemed to be injured. Perhaps a loan signing or two might shore up the defence until injuries are healed?

Well done Rebels...I thought although not a dirty match, there were quite a few lumpey tackles and lots of pushing and shoveing....we seam to pick up a lot of injuries....fingers crossed Kevin Mc Goldrick can do his stuff....

 

Bromley kept to their task and tried to narrow the gap...we defended with a bit of luck ... and to the credit of both teams...the game was never over for incidents and goals.....

To win and score 4 aganist a team higher than you is always a good result, although as others said, the defence again looks suspect, and with 3 going off injured plus Haddow having to stay on even though he was limping is worrying considering how small our squad now is. What i found strange was Is Gyoury and Wilkinson injured too? I just hope we can field 11 fit players on saturday! Eddie you need to sign some more players even on loan, the squad in depth just ain't strong enough.
