So last night - it was a bit foggy, wasn't it? - I decided to spend the first half behind the goal at the Windmill end. Just enjoying the new vantage point...

 

So got a great eyeball from Vinnie after he netted, & at half time I wandered round to find Lord & Co.

 

I came upon a group of ne'r-do-wells standing on the open terraces & thought, 'This must be the usual suspects'.

 

So I cleared my throat & said to the ringleader - I can't believe I made such a pratt of myself - although I do practice - religously.

 

'Are you Lord?'

 

He looked stunned. Like - 'I've come to football, & some twat thinks I'm the Second Coming!'

 

He put me straight with the sort of look you reserve for those people who have welcomed Jesus into their lives, & I slunk away suitably pratted & twatted - having realised what that must have sounded like!

 

So you'll know me next time, I'm in the red jacket with the Australian bush hat - keep the rain off my bins, see?

 

Oh, & I'll be the one looking like a twat - 'Doh!'

Lol Global!!! That really is hilarious!! We were on the terrace last night where the Darlo were on Sunday. If I am not mistaken I think I may have seen you on Sunday. Were you wearing the said Red jacket and hat then as well?? If so I definately saw you!

There were a few groups on the ex-Darlo terrace - which is where I made my enquiry.

 

Having made such a tit of myself I was too humiliated to try again!

 

And yeah - that was me Sunday. I am definitely going to stand with you lot for the Tranmere game.

 

Can we do 'nur!-nur! nur! nur!' - like police sirens for Tranmere?

 

I always laugh when the PA announces a 'warm welcome' to the opposition fans!
