cup of tea
Other than that blip against Cray, we've been in reasonable form recently. Unless Hendon get a very good run together then we've played all our main contenders twice now and won't play any of them again until the playoffs. Not sure about the situation with Maidstone, whether they will be allowed to enter the playoffs or not. I reckon: If Maidstone are excluded then Dulwich, Hornchurch, Bognor and Lowestoft with Kingstonian missing out. If Maidstone are included then it's 4 from 5 with Bognor and Lowestoft being the in-form teams. Obviously, it will be Wealdstone for the title. Eastside Urchin
I think with the decision being made about Maidstone already I would count them out. Rightly or wrongly , once the decision had been made I don't see how the league can go back on it IMO
SEVEN TEARS BOY
The league went back on their decision to exclude Truro last year within HOURS of making it!
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
including the farcical decision to allow Farnborough to continue in the Conference South after all their trouble at the end of last season, which meant no reprieve for us. imo, it seems that the leagues now a days make the rules up as they go along. At least FIFA got it right about those 2 spineless twits that used to play for us and went to Oz, etc etc!!
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
any way, hopefully we will be. I would like us to finish with home draws but that will depend on the results we get in these last few games. If we don't go up this season, i will feel slightly disappointed but hope that we would go up as Champions instead the following season!
SEVEN TEARS BOY
We'll go up Annifer, don't worry And as Tight Fit sang, we'll win away, we'll win away... And stay up next season, if Concord can...
Eastside Urchin
To be fair, the Ryman league seems to be more in tune with your average fan than the conference. I think the conference struggles to come to terms with the fact it's not the football league and probably won't ever get such status
paokman
Putting my money on Wealdstone going up as champions Us and Dulwich Hamlet 2nd and 3rd Bognor and Maidstone 4th and 5th My real worry is away to Canvey on bank holiday Monday. Wealdstone can help us as they're home to Dulwich,Lowestoft and Kingstonian Think it'll all be explained after 26th April
shrimper
think we will just sneak in for a play off place but have the away ties to face .. the last 3 home games should be 3 wins,, ( well maybe ) can see another 2 away wins and maybe come the canvey game they will be ready for the summer break with nothing for them to play for ?? ...wealdstone then dulwich , maidstone . hornchurch , lowestoft

Serious Sid
I was informed (by a usually reputable source) that whoever draws Maidstone in the play-offs will get an automatic 'bye' to the final.

paokman
Now all we have to do is predict where Maidstone I'll finish and end up paired against them Easy!

Can't see that happening .. If Maidstone win the Ryman (which is extremely unlikely anyway) then there'll be a reprieve at the Connie North/South level with only one side being promoted and that'd be via the playoffs. If Maidstone finish 2nd to 5th then they'll simply be excluded and the 6th place team will join in.
Eastside Urchin
That's what I understood would happen
Wivenhoe Urchin
I think it's a real shame that Maidstone are being excluded from promotion as I reckon if they weren't then a tie with them would be likely and would have been very good revenue for the club. It looks like they will drop out of the play-offs anyway based on current form, and would leave 5 teams for 4 places. I agree we do have a number of winnable fixtures between now and the last game, so we need as many points as we can get and we should comfortably be in there, meaning a good chance of a home play-off. aka PeteBeatz
Don't care who is in the play-offs as long as we are.
