Maybe, but if clubs didn't tolerate their members/officials doing it, there would be nothing to report.

 

In that respect you're absolutely correct but I was merely pointing out that there is an alternative option available should the clubs not have the moral strength or willingness to set their own standards which are deemed acceptable to you.

 

LOL @ Duncs for his comments about Windsor though, we're not all royalty and have been known to utter the odd profanity !

 

I can also vouch for Millers' comments in the two games we've played against them this season [probably the kiss of death for when we meet again this Saturday. LOL] and would also add that our recent League Cup game which was a full-blooded typical cup tie attracted marks of 93% [Cove] and 95% [Windsor] for sportsmanship from the referee which would back up his claim.  I'm guessing though that both Cove on Friday and Windsor the previous Saturday would have received much lower marks from the referees in question so it's no coincidence maybe that both games were at Chalky Lane !

For the record, I was referring to the home bench, not the visitors' . Either every game is strewn with continued abuse towards the ref, or you are painting a rose tinted view of things. What is definitely a fact is that I am not a liar and that what I did see and hear did happen.

 

The only comment that I would make with reference to the visitors is that I don't think having a chat to your mate whilst the game is in progress and you are playing  is on in front of paying customers. Just my opinion, but I'm entitled to one.

 

The hosts' behaviour towards the officials WAS out of order and it is all very well "pulling together" and presenting a united front but being in denial isn't on. Giving the opposition the option of a twenty metre advancement of the ball and a direct free kick might make some of the dissent addicts think twice...although whether or not they ever think once is another matter.

 

To repeat, the abuse was coming from the hosts' coach and players and was, in my view, far beyond what should be accepted, no matter how competitive things are/

I know you been playing and I know who you been playing for,you aint quick enough to bomb up and down the line and you and brunty should never be in the same team that would be two passengers, at least brunty didn't whinge when he was taken off after 10 minutes blowing out of his backside not like you.and all i can remember koo saying about you was i'm taking him off i'm taking him off he is sh1t.
