dannyriding
If I can sum up the game in two easy words they would be " Get in", we totally dominated the game and played Lowestoft off the park and if Im honest it was nice to beat their condecending/self opionated plonkers of their management. not spelt right but on ly the onion pickers will pick up on that . Deserved the win as they were below average....
DomBlueBoy
Great win - hopefully it will continue on Tuesday and Thursday (already paid for so it had better be worth it!!!) Massively impressed with 3 players today; Jamie Stuart - won every header at the back, loads of passion and constantly talking to and encouraging his team mates - proper captains performance. Jack Sammoutis - loads of energy, got stuck in and clearly a confident and talented player on the ball. Jefferson Louis - possibly 2 of the best goals by a Margate player at Hartsdown Park for a long time, the 2nd goal would be a top quality goal at any level. He knows how to play in this league - strong, wins headers, holds the ball up, defenders bounce off him and scores goals. Obviously too far away from play offs to consider that but a winning run makes everyone feel better and can provide confidence and momentum going into pre-season and, most importantly, gets more fans through the turnstiles !! Plumstead Blue
Fair play to you lads - no complaints from me and thanks for keeping the scoreline at just three. Got to say that all three goals were beauts - I hope for prosperity that someone caught them on film. As an aside, I was stood next to a guy who was on his first visit to an RPL match. His son was part of the under 9's who were mascots for the day. He and I got chatting and it transpired he often goes to watch Gillingham. I saw him on the way out the ground and asked him if he would return - 'you bet' was his reply - 'that was great value for a tenner'.

Coffin Ender
Lowestoft had a great chance in the first minute, then a big handball appeal but strangely flat once they went behind. Great goals obviously.
upthegate
Trouble is every games got the feel of a practice match now. No real significance on the result. Just TB trying players out.
vic pain lives!
It weren't a practice match for them going for the play offs, so for us to beat them 3 0 whilst only practicing can only be a good thing!
michael
funny 'ol game. yep-margate dominated throughout-and after first 15 minutes were in complete control. still such a fine line between winning and losing, and too often unfortunately rests on one taken/missed chance or referees decision. we will never know-but i don wonder what the outcome would have been if Lowestoft had been given the penalty and equaliced. was roo far away to see if it was a penalty or not-but going on body language of players from both sides-and the strength of lowestofts protestations, gut feel is it probably was a penalty. how would margate have reacted had Lowestoft scored ? maybe someone closer to the incident could post their honest opinion ? such a fine line-against kingstonian-two stupid defensive cock ups and a game is lost where really margate deserved a draw that saturday, and then against lowestoft-the 3-0 did not flatter overall, but what would have happened if it had gone to 1-1 ?
