Jonno
Hearing Cockfosters reserve game is off. Wonder if that's weather related or not?

Savagebee
Southall FC really need to change things in the summer they are going backwards a lot of the players don't care and are at the club just to get a move to a bigger club. Not the right type of players at the club or for level 6 football.

Rhodes
DIVISION ONE 0-3 Wodson Park v Langford A brief report from another Forum: Wodson Park 0-3 Langford Admission £4, programme £1 Awful venue, two awful teams and a not very watchable game, despite a few bouts of handbags in the second half as the almost obligatory on-pitch "banter" in this league spilled over. Decent prog and the locals were friendly enough, though. Bottom side Langford were marginally less crap than their hapless hosts, the main difference being in the respective forward lines. Half an hour walk from Ware station, the ground is an athletics venue at the back of a leisure centre and next door to Ware FC. Speccies can only watch from one side of the pitch, on a path behind a barrier next to the track. No seats, no cover, no terracing... Though plans are afoot for a 100 seater stand to be plonked somewhere facing the pitch.
Rhodes
DIVISION ONE 4-0 Chesham United Reserves v Southall A 'report' from another Forum: CHESHAM UNITED RESERVES 4-0 SOUTHALL Admission £4.00 Programme £1.00 2x Tea & Crisps £4.40 Attendance 61 (did that include the players as well, as I counted no more than 37) My last visit here saw the hosts get humped. Thus time, they turned the tables and put in a very competent performance to which the visitors had no answer and had the CUR “massive” (three elderly blokes and a dog – no doubt the same ones who went to Baldock) chanting “Easy, Easy”. But more enjoyable was the sight of PIES available. Sadly, prior purchases and lack of funds prevented me from sampling one, but something to bear in mind for my next and last (for this season) visit on Monday when I was assured they’d be available again – not the same ones, hopefully. But Mark A and Vince P both top coaches have done a great job with the reserves this season I would have gone to Wednesdays game if I was not working. Savagebee
It's a crying shame isn't it as Southall are a sleeping giant The club has not got enough of the right sort of players playing for the club at the moment to many ex pro club youngsters playing for them who don't want to battle for the club and are just there as a stepping stone.
