Dulwich Hamlet v Enfield Town

littlehampton

Recommended Posts

Today Town have another tough game on their hands, with a visit To Champion Hill to take on one of the most famous clubs in non league history.

Dulwich are having a good season, and still have an outside chance of the title, if favourites Wealdstone slip-up during the remainder of the season.

It should be a very interesting encounter. Town have turned in some impressive performances in recent matches and will go to Dulwich full of confidence.

Good luck to George and our players today, also to all Towners who will be travelling over to SE London.

Disappointing to concede a second goal so soon after we have equalised. Our guys have had a good first half, but its goals that count and we really do need to keep it tight at the back, and put them on the back foot in the remaining 45 minutes, to get something out of this match.

Fantastic !!!

What a great away point for the Town!

To twice come from behind, against a top three side, shows enormous character and commitment, and how far we have progressed as a team under George. We needed something from this game and we got it. This result will give everyone a lift, and will be a great confidence booster for the challenges ahead.

Very well done guys. Once again you did the Club proud today.

I have been forced to delete several posts from this thread as potentially libellous allegations were made concerning a named individual.  Please confine all further posts on this thread to discussion of the game at Dulwich.  Any further posts of a similar nature will be removed from the forum with no further discussion

Thank you for your co-operation

Martin to late I am afraid as far as I am concerned whoever VM is has overstepped the mark . Whoever VM is all they are trying to do is turn people against me , making up stories and I will no longer put up with it. I will expect you to do the decent thing and make the statement available to me again privately otherwise I will go down the appropriate channels to do so. I'm sorry it has come to this but I know that at least three people have read it and it was probably seen by many more. I can remember most of its content and I will now see what actions I can take to move the matter forward.

Absolutely stunned to read Steve's comments, but fully understand his feelings and where he is coming from. Yesterday was a good day for the Club and we picked up a precious point at Dulwich. I didn't see the posting by VM, but I fail to see the need, or reason, for anyone to come on this site to make inappropriate, disparaging comments about Steve Newing, our immediate past manager, who secured promotion for the Club. What useful purpose does it serve ??

My post ( now removed ) actually referred to the great spirit and togetherness of our players and how that showed in the great performance against Dulwich - and pointed out that we should Not get involved in the Steve N debate again.

The players togetherness and bond will overcome all other.

If you'd offered me a point before the game I'd gladly have taken it as I wasn't expecting anything beyond a brave defeat. But after our first half performance I'm actually disappointed only to come away with the one point. Play like that for the rest of the season and we should be fine.
