Interesting that we have Warren and Jake out meaning no experienced wingers available....I think the 4-4-2 still suits our style of play and would go with the following starting 11

                Somerville

Fraser  Hollis  Woozley  R.Parsons

Short  Mcclurg  Rumbold  Dyer

             Smith  S.Harris

If we are winning by 2 goals in the second half I would start to introduce Duff & Risbridger if ready for say 20 mins

Any chance of our noisier lot coming up with a Rummy song before tomorrow, he has been fantstic in his short time and deserves a good send off

I'd swap Duff for Dyer and Dyer for Scott Harris.

I would have agreed with your line up,RR but think Adam Cornell should start with Ed Smith up front,as he hasn't started a game for a while and with Leighton being nearer the bottom than the top of the division,it's a perfect time to get a game under his belt.

I would also play George Short on right,as Wazza and Jake aren't fit.Be interested to see how he would handle the role.

Looking forward to seeing Steve Duff on the left.I hope he starts there tomorrow.

Finished 4-1 with a performance that took a bit of time to get going but ended up taking complete control.

Leigh Rumbold MOM - if he had been in the squad for the whole season we would have won this league.

There were no technical difficulties for those at the game.

Rummy deservedly got MoM trophy today in his last appearance for us this season. I very much hope he comes back to play at STFC when he returns from the U.S. He has been a superb asset to the team.

Good luck, Rummy, and thanks.

Started slowly and conceded a sloppy goal but once we equallised and then scored the second goal just before before half-time there was only ever going to be one winner.

We completely dominated the second half and perhaps should have added a couple more to the scoreline.

Some good performances but Rummy was the stand-out player again and will be sorely missed in our quest to reach the play-offs.

Just got to hope that our possible 'new signing' will go some way to compensate for the loss of Rummy. He's got some big boots to fill though.

Another massive 3 points on Tuesday.

Thought we were pretty average first 30 but dominated after. Considering we had no wingers thought it was a well fought 3 points. Dyer had a great game as did rummy. Mcclurg was a one man shooting machine today Can't think of a game where one player had so many pops at goal!!! Well played boys a huge 3 points as all those around us stumbled!!

After a stuttering first half , we once again produced 45 minutes of dominating football.........may have to find 90 minutes like that in some of the remaining games.

Rummy(au revoir Rummy) man of the match by a mile.........liked the look of Steve duff and indeed Gareth Risbridger, both of whom showed that they have played good football in the past and will do again , hopefully starting now.

Bad news that we will be without Wooz for a couple of games with Adam Foulser already missing but the push for the play offs will be maintained whoever is playing

And can any one think of a better pair of full backs in this league than Sean and Ryan.

I still can't believe Rummy is giving all this up for America.....

He has been outstanding, cool, composed and everywhere. Top quality. All the best in the US and I hope he can return next season.

Thought there were solid performances all round and we dominated the game after a slightly shaky start.

Duff and Risbridger cameos were impressive and they look like they will be able to contribute well in the run in.

Big game on Tuesday, we need to go there fully focussed and make sure we do our job.

Just been to see Rummy before he flies out tomorrow, and he has confirmed 100% that he will be back with us next season, on his return.

He is gutted to be going, as he has really got back into his football at Slough.

On a side note Seb Castello got another 90 minutes for Badshot Lea in the CCL Prem, and scored the 3rd in their 3-1 victory.

any idea when Rummy will be back roughly? also if/when he signs again next season will he again be leaving this time next year?

good to hear Seb is getting time. could be a player who has a real impact in the next year or so for Slough hopefully

good win in the end yesterday although looked like it was going to be a real struggle it didn't end up like that in the end. making sure we win the "easier" games could well be the biggest challenge we face in making the playoffs this season so was good to see despite a bad start the team came through strong.

sounds like the squad will definitely have to be utilised in the coming weeks with injuries and unavailability. confident whoever we have to call upon can do a professional job and keep our good form going.

What if we're playing in the Premier division? I'm sure Leigh could still do a good job there but wouldn't we need more commitment and assurances that he would stay for the full season.

Hypothetically,if we did get through the play offs,I would imagine there would be a few changes of personnel to cope with the better teams we would be playing.

Whether we get promoted or stay as we are, I would imagine there will always be a few changes.

I've always thought that the teams at the top of this division can normally hold there own with the teams in bottom half of the premier division.
