Don't feel I've ever come away from a game so angry

Not at the ref,or our management or own or visiting fans but our players.

This time last week we were beating Lewes 5-1 in their own back yard,Saturday,a credible draw away at Kingstonian and tonight,we get served up that load of shite.

I know people don't like us to be too critical of the team on here but that 2nd half performance was as woeful as I can remember against a pretty shit side, either we want to get into the play offs or we don't but those who only go to home games must wonder what they have done to deserve such a performance and it wasn't just today,it's happened far too many times recently and it shows in the numbers of punters who are coming through the gates.

If Im honest fella, you know as well as I do the run in to the last few games of the season are the hardest because of the amount of games coming thick and fast and the relegation threatened teams needing to score as many points as necessary to secure ryman premier status.  Im sure Hx will be in the mix come the end of the season, a few bumps along the way is expected - keep the faith mate :)

I wouldn't mind if cray looked a decent side but they really arent ,yes vines can put the ball away but until the sending off they were poor.

My problem is the wasted chances ,the attitude that almost conveys "we'll get another in a minute".Well that attitude cost us 3 points and a player suspended for a vital match , the performance after half time was simply not good enough. We should of been out of sight before the sending off,had we been, then there was no need to make the challenge

Still in shock over this one - just want to say a good goal from us, fantastic ball in from Bremner but that's about it, I'm afraid.

I don't know what was going on, we just didn't seem to get going. Cray battled hard but really didn't have anything else to offer - obviously more than us though.

Need to put this behind us, but the next two teams we've got will be slightly more difficult to play than Cray

Cray were poor, unfortunately we were worse and we got what we deserved .. bugger all.  Having travelled to both Lewes and Kingstonian and witnessed some decent stuff, 90 minutes of hoofball tonight was pretty shocking.

Still, Maidstone have lost 4 or their last 5 (not that their finishing position matters) and Dulwich have lost their last 4 so all the play-off hopefuls (barring Bognor and Lowestoft) do seem to be trying their best to throw their promotion chances away.

Two wins vs Maidstone and Dulwich and we'll look back on this Cray defeat with a right chuckle .. or perhaps we won't !

after tonight  its easy to see why  ppl are not going to the home games  yet another one  on the list  of awful  home  games...   cold windy  long ball after long ball  and we were so bad in the 2nd half  it almost  made cray look good  think that was only their  5th win of  the season  and against a team  that can go to places like lewes  and take  them apart   , i was looking to the maidstone  game and a good crowd not so sure  i can be bothered now  at  this moment because  it seems  in home games at least  theres a few of the players  that dont always bother .just not good enough  and another year in this league looks likely  after that display  tonight

A game we easily controlled till the sending off which was right and become completely disjointed after that, shades of truro last season maybe distracted with two massive games coming up,still in fifth spot though, any consilation maidstone lost at East thurrock you couldnt make it up really

Still absolutely fuming about last night. It's same old story for Tuesday nights at the Bridge.

The style of play is the thing which annoyed me the most is our style of play. We play with no width and just hoof it forward to two small strikers.

I also think this style of football is one of the contributing factors to ever decreasing crowds.

Massive task to get in the playoffs now.

I don't think it's our style of play,I think it's individual errors due to lack of concentration and at times too many players just simply thinking we have to turn up to win the game.

The first time I heard any sort of energy from anyone of the pitch was after their goal,we need players chirping at each other all game

Why was Dave sent off?

Maybe Hornchurch are not as good as you think you are, supporters of most clubs fall into that trap. As you are still in with a great chance of reaching the play offs perhaps you should all be counting your blessings that you still have something to play for.

Thought this season was going to be too much to ask going straight back up after relegation last season.

Just don't seem to have that urgency within the team for it to happen.

I still think we have a good team and one of the best in this league. But as I've said, there's no urgency to be the best for promotion!

No Alan,you are completely wrong.

The reason we are so annoyed is that we know how good this team is.

Average sides don't batter Wealdstone 6-1 or Lewes 5-1 away from home, that simply doesn't happen in Football.

Losing to Cray fckng Wanderers because you take your eye off the ball does, but that game yesterday should of put us in good stead for the play off hunt,Instead it has left us with Two very hard games now on the bounce that in my opinion we must win.

losing is one thing u cant win them all,  but from a team  that on the day has shown its as good as any including wealdstone they can turn up at home against a poor cray team   and seem to be unable to find a pass or hold the ball and can turn into a shambles when under any pressure  is just  not good enough cant always blame the pitch etc   and it will now need a big turn around to get anything out of the next 2 games  and at some point rainfords suspension will kick in to make matters worse
