I don't think anybody should be getting too worried just yet, there's still over half the season left and looking at last seasons' table, there were only 6 points between 13th and 20th in the League.

 

The last two home games have shown a great improvement in terms of commitment (maybe with one notable exception) and once a settled formation is found the points will come!

 

Very unlucky last night I thought, but chances must be taken.

 

P.S. The lad Oxby looks good, a new Lenny Piper?

well to say that last nights game wouldnt have looked out of place in the Herts Senior league circa 1985 would be an understatement

 

however, a draw would have been a fair result, does anyone know how to shoot properly (wraight/murray?)

What are the arrangements ?.....aren't the top 12 Doc. Martens and Ryman simply being merged...with perhaps one or two more northerly Doc. Martens sides joining a northern Conference II....( Hednesford/Stafford/etc. )

I think it's three down from the Conference, 14 from Unibond, 14 from Dr Martens, 13 from Ryman making up two leagues of 22 each.

 

These are then split geographically so some of the Dr Martens will be in the North division, as could some of the Ryman, conceivably us!!

I have a hunch that the Conference will be looking for 'pressed men', in the absence of sufficient volunteers, for Division 1 North.

 

I have a feeling that anyone North of the M25 should view that as a very serious possibility rather than a 'conceivably'.

I remember Laz spent a couple of days recently working out which teams would go into which Conference Division based on current league position.

 

It would be useful so see how this has changed based on CURRENT league position, wouldn't you agree? How about it Laz?

Yes, I've been thinking about it.

 

I may create a spreadsheet to automate it.

 

IE, sort by league position, then sort by latitude (or is it longditude).
