This is the relevant extract from the appropriate ground grading document.

 

1.11      Secure Walkway

 

There must be a safe, unimpeded passage for players and match officials between their dressing rooms and the pitch.

 

There is no mention of the distance between the dressing rooms and the pitch.  So long, therefore, as the inspectors consider that the above condition is met, it is not an issue.  We have advised Eversley what they need to do to ensure compliance.

 

That said, the FA have now picked up on this issue and whilst they have not introduced any caveat concerning the distance between pitch and dressing rooms as yet, I suspect that there may well be something in the future.

We have a new planning application in progress for the additional land at Eversley,so assuming all goes well,the dressing room distance from the pitch will not be an issue in the future.
