LoucasX Posted March 16, 2014 Share Posted March 16, 2014 11th place finish would be great as that would mean real progress from a relegation battle last year to top half in what is a transition year (with a new manager mid -season). More importantly though we would like to beat last years 404 attendance at our fans day this year (but we need a home fixture from Karen on 26th April as we do not have one anymore in revised fixture list and have already started planning our fans day with local council for this day!) OD's Posted March 16, 2014 Share Posted March 16, 2014 Back in December, when the mass exodus happened, was to stave off relegation. Steve Heath promised 10 points but now he has amassed 13.It was a worrying time for a while but what Steve Heath, Matt Langston and Steve Jackman have achieved, in a short period of time has been fantastic. And of course the players.Nice to finish top 10 with a plus goal difference. Must keep our Reserves in Res Div 1 though.Looking forward to next season now. Early days it was all reserve players that made up the 1st team, that is why they suffered at the time. Uncle T Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 We lost 17 games on the trot and we were bottom of the league. So for me staying up is important. We now have 29 points and a manager who know what he wants and has started to build for next season.
