A hammer? A keen DIY enthusiat I wonder?

Its the reflection of the local area, with these little ill behaved toe rags wandering the streets while their parents sit at home either oblivious to what they get up to, or more probably couldn't care less about what they do and who they bother.

Spot on Lord. I really do blame the parents. From what I could see most of them must have been under 12!!! What the fu*k are they doing going out to footy with hammers in their pockets. Shame on the parents who were probably too busy fighting over a pack of fags and half a can of Stella back at home. Scum!

Right Bigchin, serious situations call for serious actions. I reckon we need to take vigilante tactics on these little thugs, run them out of our club once and for all!! Reckon we should all sit in the temp. stand for the Daggers game, see what our little friends are like close hand!

Too be honest, other than seeing them jumping around and generally making pr*ats of themselves, I couldn't see what they were getting up to, so I'm not in a position to say how serious it was. Any kid though bringing or trying to bring a hammer into the ground isn't there to watch the game, its safe to say.

However, if, and lets face it, its a big IF, they show their faces again, then our gate staff and stewards need to make in clear to them that causing trouble, that spoils other supporters enjoyment of the game, isn't going to be tolerated. Why not even search them to check they aren't bringing weapons into the ground. I reckon that they will get pee'd off with those sort of heavy handed "your basically not welcome" tactics and p*ss off them off leaving us in peace!

to be honest, even though they were carrying a hammer, it wouldnt have bothered me personally. I dont consider any kid a threat even with a weapon. This i because i have no fear cause i know that if they had tried to use a weapon on me they wouldnt be strong enough. If it was a fully grown adult i WOULD have had reason to worry. I think maybe kids seem to think that carrying weapons will stop people from causing them any harm.

So Decent Urchins, what are you going to do about it? Do you realise what would have happened if that HAMMER joined the SPITTING and MISSILES and insults (don't mind that one too much)........

Let's just say it would have been very messy.

THIS QUESTION GOES STRAIGHT TO THE AUTHORITIES AT YOUR CLUB. Do we have to ensure that we are all 'tooled up' for your visit or when we visit you next? Is that what you want? Or can we rely on you to do the DECENT thing for and on behalf of all decent Hornchurch supporters. It's entirely in your hands.

Remember, we are not a small town and nor are we a small club, our attendances are the second highest in the league.......lots of people..........all being totally made aware of what happened Tuesday evening.

SORT IT OUT PLEASE.

I'm not defending the little sh*ts, but did you actually see the hammer? If you did why wasn't the little sh*t pointed out and nicked? You are right there is know place for this in football, but by saying the word has been spread you are only going to make the situation worse. You may be a big town, but don't forget Hornchurch is a big catchment area for a number of 1st and Premiership teams....do i have to say anymore...and where this is leading!!!!!

It's not leading anywhere else. I have said my peice and have faith in Hornchurch's respectable fans and authorities to stamp out the one bad side in an otherwise excellent setup. I don't think i have been unreasonable.....after all how would you have felt if you were me.

Lets leave it at that.

I wouldn't think the "kids" you are talking about would travel and I think that they are just a "one off", latching onto the club because of the success in the FA Cup. That can be unfortunately a down side of success in a major cup (tho I can't remember Canvey having this problem)...They'll disapear as the season continues. That doesn't make it right though and the club, in my mind, will have to be aware of the problem, which I'm sure they are.

On another note, the loyal supporters of Hornchurch are not like that. I have to say that, when Billericay went down there, I was amazed at the amount of families that made up their support which reflects the success of the admission price and the overall welcome the club makes to newcomers and away support alike.

Agreed Gazza the club are not to blame for what appears to be a one off situation

Where Hornchurch may have a problem is if the are not prepared next time now these ugly little bastards have had their initial go

The good ol boy stewards who are the norm with well behaved crowds are not normally geared to handle the little sh**s who create this kind of crap

Right !

Those Pesty Little Kids ! All Go My School And In The Year Below ! I Know Who Everyone Of Them Was And I Know For A Fact That None Of Them Had A Hammer With Them ! Why Would You Want To Bring A Hammer To A Football Game, We're Not Hooligans, You Know !

There Is A Couple Of Kids Who I Know Who Have Been Supporting The Club For About Four Or Five Months Now, Yes ! Probably Glory Hunters, But They Weren't The Ones Causing The Trouble !

Mr. Eagle, everyone on here has been disgusted by the behaviour of those kids on Tuesday evening, I refuse to address the little sh*t bags as supporters of our club, as they are clearly not. But not one of your previous posts mentioned anything about the boy with the hammer, did you see him in the ground with the hammer???

The only mention of anyone carrying a hammer, was posted by Urchin Fan, a Hornchurch fan, who said, and I quote "I know there was a group of about twenty little yobs attempting to get into the ground one of these was carrying a hammer". There is nothing to say the boy carrying the hammer even entered out ground, unless you saw him of course?

In fact mate, when I raised the question with you asking if you were placing on par with Aldersh*t, you replied "Nah Lord, not saying that at all"! How is it you are now saying that every fan is going to know about Hornchurch fans going to games tooled up?

This matter WILL be dealt with, rest assured. Us fans won't allow pr*cks like these to undermine our club.

I agree with that, so for the next few home games, it would be useful for the club to be aware and maybe be prepared for the eventuality of these "kids" becoming a short term regular fixture (until, of course they are banned).

It really is a shame that little b*gg*rs like that can ruin a good afternoon or evening's entertainment .

Just want to add as a "new supporter" (recent convert)..that no snot nosed, baseball cap wearing, juvenile is gonna stop me and mine from enjoying a fantastic afternoon at the bridge...furthermore, I sincerely believe that if, and i use the term loosely, ...if the little gits had done anything more than sing albeit abusive songs to the away supporters, and had it been spotted by the Hornchurch faithful, I suspect that matters would have been dealt with on the spot...I know that myself for one would have done something ...either had a word with them or spoken to someone in authority..and I am sure anyone else would have done the same thing. As a parent of a teenage boy myself..I would have happily dealt with the little tw@ts!!

I think this is getting a little out of hand. At the end of tehhe day it was just a few kids causing a bit of aggro, hardly hardcore football holigans! IMO the Stewards should have nipped it in the bud straight away. I find the suggestion that one of them had a hammer laughable!! Blimey, the day that people run scared of these little scroats is the day that we should lock ourselves up and never go out!

I am not condoning what they done, but lets face it, its hardly on par with the ICF on the rampage is it!!!???

Some commonsense really does need to prevail here!!

lets get this into perspective...this is for the most part a bedford sour grapes wind up....there were no kids with hammers and the nuisance element was dealt with at half time...in the second half after the ring leader was tossed out...they were as good as gold...just noisy...

it didn't help that the new crush barriers were not in place which they will be for the next home game....thereby penning the kids in....

a lot of those kids have been coming to games for about 4/5 months....a lot of 'em were newcomers....

I spoke to the kids at half time as did urchinette...I also apologised to the bedford fans behind the south goal...where actually they were follish to be....... seeing as all those kids were holed up there........

anyway...there wasn't any real trouble...alright they were disrespectful to our gustes...hardly reason for a call to arms in mighty bedford....

stop making trouble bedford fans....I detect a teeny weeny bit of jealousy here...

we'll sort our club out thanks....you sort yours out and get a new team cos the one you have aint good enough for the alliance....you could and should have lost by 4 or 5 on tuesday...

those kids will not maske a nuisance of themselves again....thats a promise...

by the way...the one that wasa tossed out went and got hhis dad who had a go at GC in the gate area....

what chance that kid ever keeping out of trouble...

these kids were all under 12......nuff said...
