how odd it is that the other lot now have what we wanted 4 years ago-a supporter run club.Just a pity for them that most of us now have our own supporter run club which is in a far healthier condition.

as much as anyone can,a few decent people left there so i wish them luck and will they need it.

If they aare now run by their supporters with no input whatsoever from any previous crooks then we should give EFC all our best wishes and support. We should also play a yearly derby game against them with profits going to both clubs. That would be a good money spinner!

Happy - I disagree, I don't support them, I support ETFC, I'm happy to meet and beat them in any competition.

 

Over the past couple of months the likes of Freebird have driven me from my moderate position to a place where if they were on fire I wouldn't **** on them to put it out.

 

and any talk of merging and I'll buy a season ticket for Barnet!!!

When I say support them I don't mean turn allegiance from the Town. However, forget the likes of Freebird who is a totla pratt. there are some good guys at EFC and is the club is in the hands of the supporters then it is where it should be. A match against them would bring much needed revenue for both clubs. Maybe a two leeged fixture in the pre-season would add some spark to the endless round of boring friendlies. I certainly wouldn't want to see a merger of the two clubs though.

Sorry Russ, but Southport is a pal of mine. He's just really p***** off with Freebird (and I don't blame him). He is also Town through and through (with a little spot of southport thrown in (or up) for good measure).
