UBLOW LTD               SUPPORTOR OF THE SEASON 2013/2014

Nominations. What people have said about their nominees.

The Swinnock Family.  Lesley (mum), Dave (dad) & Alan relentless attendance both Home & Away. When driver is unavailable (Dave), mum & Alan travel by train. Knowledge on football exceptional, always supporting MFC through ups and many downs.

Terry Scott.   Some say the noisiest supporter some say passionate, never a bad word about players or performance. (although some players she drools over more) On occasional way trips always keeps the  younger lively ones in check. Organises Ladies sessions, and coaches youths. Always friendly towards others, brings a smile to my face. Cake supplier to players.

Daniel Boyle.  Always at Home matches, tries to travel when he can, supports all club events, saves his money to spend at MFC. Always makes time to speak to people, and makes me smile on match days. The club is the big love of his life, always trying to get pictures with lovely ladies. His passions on seeing us score goals are memorable. A dedicated fan, always friendly & has an in depth knowledge of MFC. Hasn’t missed a game since god knows when (home) Love his flirting antics to his mass happy shopping supply of mini eggs. Never fails to add a smile on myself and supporters faces, and the amount of passion shown by the anti-freeze stained young man. MFC legend. Credit to Margate Football Club.

Martin Black.  He has shown unwavering support throughout the season, makes regular trips to away matches, an extremely likeable fellow to boot. His blogs and newspaper column excellent fans eye view. He has taken the club to his heart, as a new supporter. Prioritising his weekly plans to follow the boys both home and away, to his late night walks from the train station with a massive shark/alligator. Buying onesies from primark and Christmas blue hats. Massive passion/support and love towards the club from a guy from Islington. Top Bloke, stacks of respect for you mate.

Dave Miles.  Goes to every home and away game, works freely for the club and deserves some recognition. Always helps when asked and can always been seen on the Season Ticket gate.

Salim Usman. Doesn’t come to many 1st team games due to his youth team commitments, but he helps coach one of the under 9s, Terrys under 10s and his own under 11s. As well as the player development centre, he has put much of his own money into coaching courses and works hard with all the time he can give. Salim also runs the after school club on a Wednesday at the 5 a side. He is also almost solely responsible for the marking out of the youth team’s pitches. (all 6 of them). Salim is a real UNSUNG hero of the youth section. He is a great guy.

Andy Payne. (danny riding)  Tirelessly working his finger to the bone, on forums and propping up the bar. Gave up smoking 4 years ago, but has shares in John Smith. Never misses a home game and raises the spirits (literally) on the occasional away game. A diamond geezer.

Barry Gardner. (barry the barber) Staunch Margate supporter for many years.

Ted Pittman. Between 2008 and 2011 travelled from Sidcup to Margate taking eldest son to every home game. Then moved to Margate 2011 and has become as very active member of the club, and was instrumental in the painting of the clubhouse, and pitch snow clearer.

Keith Piper.  We should go for a supporter with loyalty, a supporter who has been with the club through thick and thin, someone who has helped secure the stability of this club.

Paul Zanetti.  Continuing support for the football club, dedicating his free time as a volunteer to coach u 19s.  Youth press officer, main club press officer and assistant academy coach. Volunteering to assist coaching soccer schools and other sessions in the school holidays.

Tom McKenna.  Somebody who without his massive support, in put over god knows how many years, there wouldn’t be a Margate Football Club. Tom arrives at the club 8.00 am to continue cooking the food he had prepared the night before and that’s after he has ordered it and gone and collected it. Nobody would eat Directors/Players/Sponsors and Fans if Tom didn’t cook it AND ALL FREE OF CHARGE.
