Jamie why try to defend the indefensible, the Bamfords record was poor to start with, hence they have dropped to Div 1 football.Bedfont Sports however have stepped up big time, after their departure,it took time for Mick Snowden to gel a side together, but together they are.U18's playing,A VERY DECENT KEEPER BETWEEN the sticks, who is only 19,but never got a chance in their reign.Maybe they believe in Youth win nothing, how mistaken they are.Where were you guys at the Bedfont and FELTHAM clubhouse post match,YOU had long gone, embarassed no doubt. You know as well as I do that their is only 1 team in BEDFONT and that is the Sports.Mick Snowdens RED AND BLACK ARMY RULES O.K.,reason SMUDGE is backing them. Thanks Duncs for the Beer, the Ref Ryan O'Sullivan had a decent game, even though my grandson saw red, beware though of the Frimley No.6,a bigger con merchant,I have never seen.

Embarrassed? Why? Nicked a draw with 9 men, proud more like.

So why the attack on the Bamfords smudge? Is it because your grandson is the captain of their old club? Yea I think it is. Let me tell you something about stu and Gav Bamford they are two of the most professional footballers that I've ever been involved with and he presence they have on the team is incredible.

Jamie,my grandson embarrased me today,up until his rightful sending off,he was the class act on the pitch.Supplier of 2 great crosses that resulted in goals, and a well struck penalty he was contender for  m.o.m.But alas he has previous for being wound up,by inferior players, which has been his downfall throughout his career. However the difference being thank god is that when my Grandson gets sent off,his side gel and only be come more determined.Ask  Frimley Green,Mole Valley,Dorkingmwho have not won a game against the team he was playing for, when the Ref has shown a Red.

You say the difference is Pete is that they gel after he was red carded, were we not the same? I don't know terry and wish him all the best in whatever he's doing but I will stand by Stu and Gavin. I don't really know the ins and outs at what happened at bedfont with them but everyone at bedfont left because they backed the pair of them. I personally believe that's very respectful towards them. As for Mick he's Been my manager/coach at Staines Town, Ashford and Lammas and have a lot of time for him as I think he's a great man to man manager. One of the best I've had.

Smudge what is all this stuff about the youth not coming through at Sports, They have always promoted from the youth, I did it and so did Gavin, George Marks, Jordan Vidal, Jack Watts, Tony Hadley, to name but a few that have come through the youth and were regular starters under me and Gavin when he took over.

Sending offs happen in football and both Bamfords are a credit to themselves, both still very good footballers, despite being in there mid thirties, as is Mr Bates who is past his 41st birthday and he run the show yesterday.

Bedfont and Feltham are a good side, and we were happy to come away with a point yesterday after the sending offs, Redrup was again superb as was Liam Stone in goal, next Saturdays home game v AFC Croydon is going to be a big one now, Knaphill got a great win yesterday and second all is still to play for.

Also Smudge don't believe everything you hear about the reasons why Sports and Gavin departed company, always two sides to a story.

Spelly 7-1 CB Hounslow

HT 3 -0 with goals from Lee Staples, Jesse Atiase and Jake Hicks.

FT 7-1 with goals from Rob Smith, two further sublime finishes from Lee Staples, and an own goal (which Buzz is still trying to claim was his).

CB came alive in the last 5 mins with Phillips being called upon to make a double save, however the clean sheet was denied when the referee awarded CB a concolation penalty when the ball struck the arm of the CB forward. But that's football.

3 points on a lovely sunny day, who could ask for any more.

Next up for Spelly we travel to Ryman South Division side Walton Casuals on Tuesday in the Quarter Finals of the Southern Combination Cup. 7:45 Kick Off

bedfont sports 4 frimley green 0 bedfont started like a train and set the tempo for this match, frimley struggled with the pace of the game right from the start and when sports scored an early goal i'm afraid the writing was on the wall for frimley, sports looked leen and hungry frimley looked heavy and some of thier players are not fit, first time i have seen smudges boy and have to say he would be in my team everytime he has that desire i like in players and he is also very good, sports were 2 up before half time and frimley were chasing shadows and giving the ball away far to often, sports scored 2 more in the 2nd half with the excellent jamie reed getting the fourth, even when sports went down to 10 they were the better team, bad day at the office for frimley lets hope they can put this game behind them and pick up the pace against croydon on wednesday.

Farleigh 2-1 Sandhurst (cup Q'final)

Goals from Scott Robson making his first start in a while after his knee injury to put us 1-0 up at the break, second half Sandhurst equalised (tricky no9 upfront) I save a penalty with 10 mins to go & Billy Lippett scored a last minute winner!

Looking forward to the "challenge" of facing Spelthorn in the semi finals!

South Park 1 Ash Utd 0

Another away defeat but this time to the league leaders

Not a good game to watch but we fought hard with them without really troubling them

At the other end south park created a couple chances but our keeper was in fine form keeping them at bat. The goal that won them the game was alittle lucky as a header from a corner hit the post but the ball hit our keeper when diving & rebounded into the goal, however won't take it away from south park they deserved the win

Nice to meet CC again who took the time to stand behind the goal with me for the whole first half. Patient chap!

Actually I was sitting on the bench. Good chat I thought; apologies for my desperation and exasperation!

Pearcey spot on mate one if not both harsh sending offs.

Smudge youve been told what happened why stir it up because terry is at sports is it lol how long before he bails out there aswell. Its good to see they may get out of the drop zone as otherwise our hard work is undone. Ive spoken to mick an hes a nice a guy an good luck to him. As for alex in goal he was a regular until he got injured keeping stone on the sidelines yes thats correct an a fact.
