South Park 5 - 2 Farnham Town

We didn't turn up last night and were punished by a strong powerful South Park side who exploited our every mistake.

Must mention the pitch; The SP groundsman worked tirelessly to get the game on however; I believe that if we didn't have such a fixture backlog then this game would have been off! Certain areas (middle of the pitch) were dangerous!

Player safety is now being ignored by officials who are under pressure from the league to get games played! A dangerous precedent to set!

Finally can I say that this game will be played tonight ko 7.30pm

Ash Utd 3 Kingstonian 4

finally got the game played against a strong Kingstonian side. Took an early lead but didnt last too long & soon behind. Went a further behind but replied quickly to go in at half time 3-2 down. 2nd half we equalised but again didnt manage to keep Kingstonian out who regain the lead half way into the half. Created chance to level but didnt manage to take them, but a good performance on a very difficult pitch (shocking groundsman lol)

Good luck to Kingstonian in the next round at Met Police

Crikey, finally an either or fixture list, not before time. However C&H and Epsom Ath,have to play 22 league home fixtures in 3 months, having only played 15 in 7 months.Yet both are still in the Combination Cup,and League Cup,which take precedence it seems.

Exactly Smudge, read my thread Chakly Lane Plight....

So ssshhh dont say too much otherwise you'll have YV on your case......   LOL !.

Thanks TRS for that.  highlights suggest that Camberley probably deserved the win and it was great to see 2 ex Krooner favourites in the middle of the action in Stu Norman and Roo :)

Is there any possibility we could stop banging on about Chalky Lane.

It's wet there. It's always wet. I raised the Epsom Athletic issue of extra games on that pitch two seasons ago but the League proposed and the clubs voted Epsom Athletic in knowing that they were at that venue, so we just have to get on with it. Anyway, they might even play Wembley tonight, you never know :)

And lots of extra games. So what. Half of the players I know play Sunday football too. If they were really tired, then presumably that would be sacrificed first. Until it is then the players aren't tired.

Mad game at Hartley last night.

They dominated the first half yet three goals in three minutes ensured a HT 3-1 lead, only to then dominate the second half ourselves, yet somehow end up at 4-4!

Neither team appeared to have a defensive shape, unless of course that shape is jelly shaped and wobbly :)

Match report is here: http://www.eefconline.co.uk/LCN43.html

A Town I have no idea what you are talking about. You appear to think that I'm digging at you for some reason, and I think you are a little bit paranoid. I'm referring to the fact that many players are still playing Sunday footy so for people to state that it is a problem playing so many games in a few days are missing the point. Clearly you are too. I was actually trying to defend your position and maybe I need to use smaller words.

And as for a merger. Relevance to this topic? Nil.

I was just asking a question merely E&E that's all as for paranoid not too sure what you're on about and the merger question was again something someone mentioned to me . You're quite a ignorant twat by the sounds of things , do one

The other week we couldn't play ash on Thursday as were told they can't use the lights twice midweek. This week ash played wed and Badshot last night. I'm sure there's an explanation but would like to know !

thats a new one to me NLN,we always used to play/train on tuesdays and then train on thursdays and of course sometimes the lights had to go on on saturdays if it was a murky day.Its probably all changed now though.

Yes

was meant to be away at Bedfont Sports on Tuesday but as you all know i failed several times to get the Kingstonian game on (yes im a shocking groundsman), so we arranged it for this week as they were free (plus its the county cup so it take preference) but also knowing we had Baggie lea's game on thursday we had to speak to certain people to be allowed to play as we are not allowed full lightening twice a week. This is just a one off to get the senior cup game on (not our home game) & if i was good enough we would have played weeks ago.

Duncs

weve been breaking the floodlight rules for the ground for years until the recent chairman got told what we are alllowed & it certainly wasn't for 2 games in midwek

cheers AU I wasn't trying to be funny just stated what used to happen don't get paranoid like the rest of them,AUPastie will remember the days when we only had one training light which we won in the Philips floodlight competition at Alexander stadium in Birmingham, but then again that was in the past and it is unimportant.
