building works

Not in Kent at moment so i could be wrong, but i assume there is no sign of the promised february start to the building works?

not really concerned, as didn't expect it to happen in the promised 3 month time frame anyway, when a new owner comes in (thought Mr Laslett with his experience and business acumen would have known that )

I have no doubt it will happen to some degree or another-and a May start probably makes more sense anyway ;and i am not particularly bothered either.

where i am disappointed is that it was clearly stated after the last forum that a further announcement would be made shortly re: the ground-that hasn't happened-and then as the self imposed timeline of february has not been fulfilled either-a mention of that has not been made.

the clubs communications are generally excellent, but do seem to fall short on this aspect.

I guess one of my sad business values is if you do/say something-you do it-or minimally you explain why it hasn't/cannot happen and amend.

By implication-it may well be that all will be revealed in a blaze of glory at the forthcoming forum-but that is by implication without being specifically stated;whereas it was specifically stated that a further announcement would be made after the last fans forum

that all given-i am certain the club will get it underway soon, but for those of us who are currently more excited by dreams of bricks and mortar than the many coming and goings pitchside, the silence is deafening

i don't do this twitter stuff and all that follower stuff-much too sophisticated for a simpleton like me,but sometimes i read posts and think i'm being stalked-maybe just 'followed'-whatever that means.

Is it re-assuring to know there remain certain things and people in life you can still rely on ?

Always like to see whats happening with you guys, especially as many of our lads seem to end up with you. :D All the action taking place seems to be" building a team for next year",but the main question that seems to be doing the rounds is-Has the Council actually agreed terms for the rebuilding of the Ground?

Its been well over a dozen years or so since HDP was torn down and although its all well and good for the boss to be confident, until you get TDC to sign on the dotted line, you wont be going anywhere,as the Conference wouldnt let you in with basically a 3 sided ground with insufficient cover.

It would be good to see you go up,as local derbies are always welcome, rather than travelling the M25 etc!

Anybody know what exactly the state of play is?

Sir Humphrey Appleby: The identity of the official whose alleged responsibility for this hypothetical oversight has been the subject of recent discussion is not shrouded in quite such impenetrable obscurity as certain previous disclosures may have led you to assume, but, not to put too fine a point on it, the individual in question is, it may surprise you to learn, one whom your present interlocutor is in the habit of defining by means of the perpendicular pronoun.
