We are delighted tonight, top performance from the lads!!! Professional all over the park, and some of the football played on a very poor pitch (however great credit to PB for getting it on) was top drawer..

 

Fans were excellent today, so many man of the match candidates (and not their players) and literally the 14 that played put in a great shift, but our skipper was immense in everything he did today!!

 

Proud to be a Rebel!!  COYR

Really impressed with our attitude and commitment which was spot on from start to finish.

 

Again I think it's a bit unfair to say the Potters were a poor team, I would suggest that we are playing so well at the moment teams are finding it hard to live with us.

 

Some excellent football played by us today and some excellent performances from all the players but my MOTM goes to Adam Foulser who showed us today what a top player he is with a commanding performance at the back.

Neil is spot on, why focus on any of the Potters Bar players when there's a fantastic Slough performance to talk about. Everyone played their part and had the right attitude and as such picking one MoM is tough. It could easily have been six or seven goals today but it's another good three points to take into two home games coming up, so I'm delighted.

 

It also goes to show how important confidence is in football, as our recent displays are a world apart from those of December when everything was going against us.

I also heard that Rummy is off to the USA in a couple of weeks.

 

If this is true it will be a major disappointment and a major blow to our promotion push.

 

Rummy is playing superbly and IMO will be impossible to replace.

 

Really hope it's not true.

Rummy will be back off to the USA late March after the Leighton game, and something we knew about when we signed him and released Ollie.

 

However we knew he could have a positive effect on the team in the meantime, and hopefully you will agree he has proved that.

Oh he has proved what a quality player he is Neil... Will be a blow but life goes on... Any plans to sign a replacement??? Is Adam Martin playing regularly at Wealdstone?!?! ;-)

No coincidence IMO that since Rummy and Ryan Parsons have joined us that we have started to look like a team that can go all the way.

 

I know there are some things that are more important than football but really gutted to hear this news.

Gutted to hear this. Since coming in rummy has been pulling the strings and will be very hard to replace. Have most definitely benefitted from him being around.

 

With regards to Adam martin, last I heard he was at Cambridge city but not sure.
