Lammas 2-1 Croydon (Aet)

Saw the game upto end of 90min then had to go, Lammas had an early Pen which made the keeper look good by saving a weak kick

Croydon took the lead from a fine cross headed in with belief

Lammas equalizer came with a deft flick over the keeper 1-1 at half time and with the same score at the end, extra time was needed

Lammas scored the winner during the extra period. I was told the Croydon keeper had an early bath.

Eversley & Cali 1-3 Spelthorne Sports

Spelly keep marching on and still unbeaten, which is amazing considering we are now in March! Very effective performance from them and they made Eversley look very ordinary. Looked dangerous every time they went forward and scored 3 good goals. Eversley were very off colour having very few chances. They did pull it back to 1-2 a few minutes from the end, but then allowed Spelly to regain a two goal cushion straight from kick off. Pretty sure I saw the champions this afternoon, theirs to lose now. Good to have the stand(s) now on the opposite side to the dugouts too! Only complaint is that horrific approach road to the carpark!

well done Ash great result beating croydon 3 1 onwards and upwards  :bananatux:

i'm bloody knackered but 3 very valuable points

1st half very tight with not many chance, 2nd half we won the 1st of our penalties, but missed it but scored from the rebound. went 2 up with our 2nd penalty & scored from this. Then had a player sent-off & then Croydon pulled a goal back before we were awarded our 3rd penalty which we scored towards the end off the game

hope the croydon player who was injured & went to hospital isn't as badly hurt as we thought & will be back playing asp

now again the work starts for me to try & get tuesday's game on

Thought it was a well contested game today Lammas looked a bit rusty after a few weeks out as did Croydon. Lammas missed a penalty in the first half from Ben Jacob, Croydon scored on the run of play with a well taken header. Lammas immediately replied with a superb chip from Gary James. The game went into extra time and Vinny Hodge scored in the 119th minute with a 25 yrd worldie to nick it, thought Redds was absolutely different class today. Wasted at this level. Liam stone too.
