London Lions!?

Can someone help me out on this one.....

 

 

We (St Margaretsbury Fc) are due to play London Lions tonight in a first team fixture, this has been postponed due to them not being able to field a side.

 

Here comes to tricky part....

 

They also have a reserve fixture tonight vs London Colney which hasn't been postponed and they will fulfill this fixture!?!

 

How is this right?

Well there's your answer. I would be doing EVERYTHING I could to avoid playing in that field, agianst those dirty players, with those fans. I say, well played London Lions in this case.

No one wants their players getting kicked off the ball and the fans have to feel safe when travelling away, who can forget the famous toilet incident of 2012/13, a low day for ssml.

On a side note, that's a crazy situation. Surely the first team fulfilling fixtures takes priority.

I remember in the 07/08 season i think it was when we turned up to play St Mags in a midweek cup fixture and there was a court summons letter for council tax cable tied to the gate and there reserves were off playing somewhere else that night. Pot,Kettle,black and all that.

Someone else had been totting up the non fulfillment fines recently. Was it Brimsdown? As far as I'm aware the fine gets bigger with each cancellation. £250, £500, £750 etc rings a bell.

 

I guess the end result if they don't pay is a ban for all the registered players from all football
