"There are plans for a cover at one end, when it will happen is not yet known."

You'd have thought our £25,000 would have covered this? Well where the hell is it? I dread to think what it is going to be like if it belts down with rain... Mind you, if we had three hundred people under that side cover, we could make one helluva racket....

Starts his rain dance for tomorrow night.....

Really, why?

Watching from the side allows a more balanced view of the game, therefore eliminates the need to post all the drivel about how teams are "cheated" by the officials etc.

I would, however , like to point out that it is the tea at Windsor that sucks, probably the worst I have ever tasted.

Now, now. Whilst I agree that Windsor have been very hospitable whilst we have been tenants I also have to agree that the tea is rank! I tried switching to Bovril although was put off that by the half inch of limescale in the bottom of the cup.

Picture the scene, top of the table clash as second play third in the league. The place is heaving with 150 fans....

Jeez Royalist, that's embarrasing. We're taking between 250-300 to your ground every week and you're struggling to get half of that when you're doing well? God help you if your financial backing goes tits up and you begin to struggle like we are at the moment. What will the crowds be like then? Doesn't bode well.... Having said that though, I wouldn't wish that on anyone what we're having to go through right now, but it's a credit to those still attending and supporting for their dedication to Slough Town FC.

We have a ground which is sat there in Wexham, unused. If our chairman knew how to pay the bills (Is that £70,000 still outstanding Mr Deaner?) we would almost certainly still be able to play there... Let's not hold our breath though.
