Coffin Ender
Can't understand all the wailing about it. Their aim is promotion - they missed it last season and are nine points outside the play-offs this time. They have no money, so playing route one is going to be their best hope of success. Dixon seemed well liked by the players - usually a bad sign.

GEEBEE
think its time they realised that there cant be two football clubs in this small area of ours.they have been struggling for years with hardly any improvement on gate receipts, with a crap ground, and players reluctant to play for them I think Lawson should sell up, grab the money and enjoy it while he still can.and pj was probably the best thing that has happened to Ramsgate in a long time
I am Spartacus
Shock horror seems Wardie has turned down the job saying ramshite do not have enough ambition for him.
Gringo
Its hard not to gloat a little especially with the likes of Mr Sanderson trying to stir on here at every opportunity. Sell what? They don't own the ground and have no assets, only debts.

michael
good luck to Dean Hill-and pleased things appear to have stabilised for them. in terms of a permanent appointment-i would love them to appoint Simon Osborn. Perfect for them i reckon-and would be pretty well motivated to succeed i would think. TB has my full support-and reckon he will do well at MFC if he stays the course;but at the same time i believe Osborn was somewhat harshly treated when he was doing ok
michael
I think my wording of 'harshly treated' as posted above was inappropriate-for all i know-he received a £2 million pound payoff-so if that was the case-maybe not 'harshly treated'. I should have said in my opinion ,and from what i could only observe was going on pitchwise-he was unfortunate to lose his job. seemed to be doing ok to me ,albeit medium term -perhaps TB does offer more.
