Swifty
A miserable performance, especially the first half. Three gifted goals including a needless handball for a penalty and it was game over by the break, and another ball slicing through the defence for a run at goal for the last gasp fourth. Typically, what little luck we might have deserved didn't go our way. How the ref and lino failed to penalise the Uxbridge player who hadn't retreated ten yards for a free kick and then blatantly handled it with with an outstretched arm was beyond belief. Of the few efforts we managed (and it was barely a handful), four of them brought out fine saves from Macca. In another season we might have scored a couple of those. In fact, in most of the previous few seasons we would have had enough in the tank to beat Uxbridge. Today, we got what we deserved. What we'd give right now for a player like Uxbridge captain Wayne Carter, who ran the show.

Yep Ashford Town need a few older heads in there starting line you have to many youngsters and to many small players you also need one or two big lumps in there as well. I said it before im not sure your manager was the right man for the the job. May be at the Ashford Town v Harefield United game tonite.
