Neutral
A fantastic gesture. Absolutely love this, wouldn't it a great if more clubs spontaneously donated half their gate to Hertford? If for one week every club did that, Hertford's problems would be over (or at least less costly to amend)

BigDogCol
Massive thanks to Hatfield for this gesture. They don't get big crowds and our little derby is probably their biggest payday of the season so for them to split the gate with us is huge. The football family still exists and long may it continue in this manner. I understand that this is partly due to Hertford hosting Hatfield's games when they could not and they remembered this kindness. The FA should look at this and do more to help grassroots clubs as much as we help each other.
Karen Browne
Maybe fellow SSML clubs could stage half time collections at their next home game to assist Hertford Town and other SSML clubs in similar trouble
Jonno
It's a cracking gesture from Hatfield and I take my hat off to them for an unbelievable show of spirit and support. But.... I can't see many other teams extending the hand of friendship in terms of finance, mainly due to how much it costs clubs to operate these days, even at this level. We live in hope! Septimus
Another thank-you to Hatfield Town from a grateful Hertford Town supporter - great gesture and great hospitality, good banter on the balcony too!

LoucasX
I would like to add my thanks to all involved at Hatfield. It was a wonderful gesture and I certainly would not expect others to follow as there are many clubs struggling. When the flooding drained away from the buildings we had the unenviable task of cleaning the sewage tarnished changing rooms. The money donated is much appreciated but even more important is that it lifts our spirits and helps us get things back on track. We had a donation from a fan on the day we jet washed and disinfected the changing rooms and it really helped us get the job done in good spirits. Thanks again to Hatfield for the boost your gesture has given us and thanks to everyone that has provided moral support.

Rebadiah Hongfield
All I'm saying is don't expect anything from Oxhey Jets on the 5th April. From what I've heard, the players from last season took took took from that club and left them almost bankrupt.
