Mr Rebel
Daventry were always going to have a hectic catchup to do and its probably turned out even worse than they even feared. with every postponement comes more optimism for our chances

Jon Underwood
Bakes and I went to watch the Uxbridge v Barton game last night and saw a number of Rebels fans boosting the crowd. Was very even 1st half but Barton dominated the 2nd half and deserved their win. We weren't massively surprised by Aylesbury Utd's win. Nothing against Beaconsfield as clearly they have been on a fantastic run but that was going to end sooner or later and having seen Aylesbury on Saturday, who were a strong side, we knew they could take points off some of the better sides, particularly on Leighton's pitch where the games can be very scrappy as we know well! Marlow only made 1 'like for like' change from the side that beat Dunstable at the weekend but put in a completely different performance according to their manager Barts......funny game football sometimes! Another big weekend coming up with our game obviously plus Barton v Daventry and Kettering v Royston. It's certainly shaping up to be a very interesting end to the season! readingrebel
Surprised at the Marlow score to be honest I would guess Marlow's great effort in coming back from 1-0 down to beat Dunstable might have caught up with them.
