Afternoon inspection at Alton Town. Overnight rain.

At South Park, work is continuing on the wet pitch.

Bedfont v Molesey 2pm inspection.

Cockfosters v Hanworth Villa 3pm inspection.

Wow looks like some football at last in the CCL, Chips are flying high in the Ryman so they won't be coming down and now it's up to Epsom to get on a run and come up and join us!

 

Starting tonight against South Park, I have no doubt Epsom will win AGAIN but a bit puzzled by the recent departure of Hough to Horley - can't get my head around leaving a team at the top for a team at the bottom!

 

Anyways Epsom will be too strong AGAIN, and the gap will start to close!

 

Keep forking down at the Park we don't want another postponement!

I'm hearing the game is on as it stands but a final decision will be made by the match referee when he gets there. We just had a heavy shower, but I believe no more is expected. Well, according to the Met Office anyway, so they must be right!

 

P.S. they are forecasting hail in Dorking right now but I'm looking at mostly blue skies

Despite the efforts of our groundsman today the heavy rain earlier this afternoon has resulted in the South Park v Epsom game being postponed. We await a new date to be arranged for this fixture.

Glad Ash are not playing tonight as ours would also be off, now hoping for 2dry days so we can try & get Thursday game on
