Does the league need to consider sanctioning league fixtures to be played on 3G surfaces wherever one can be booked?  With the weather as it is either teams will still be playing in June or April and May will see Sat, Tue, Thur, Sat fixtures consistantly for most teams.

Ok so there is the lost revenue from tea and drink sales in the clubhouse, but a gate could still be charged.  The cost of hiring the facilities can be expensive; could the league subsidise hiring costs?

The Reading League would allow games to be played on 3G but they are not subsidising the costs involved.

People more in the know than me will correct me TC but I would suspect that the league wouldnt be able to unless they are sanctioned by the FA as a suitable stadium for Step 5.  Stand to be corrected though.

There are even rules within Youth leagues that the 3g has to have been sanctioned by the FA before they can play on it !

From League Handbook.

24 PLAYING SURFACES
Steps 1 and 2
Competition matches shall NOT be played on any synthetic or artificial grass surfaces without the prior written approval of the Board.
Steps 3 to 6
Football Turf Pitches (3G) are allowed in this Competition providing they meet the FIFA 1 Star/IATS performance standards and are listed on the FA’s Register of Football Turf Pitches. To meet the criteria a Football Turf Pitch must pass a test annually for FA Competitions and at Steps 3-6 as defined in the FIFA Quality Concept for Football Turf. On receipt of the pass certificate The FA will add the pitch to the Register. The home club is also responsible for advising participants of footwear requirements when confirming match arrangements in accordance with Rule 8.12.1.
Clubs must register their pitch dimensions with the Competition prior to the start of each season. It will be misconduct on the part of a Club to alter its pitch dimensions during a season unless with prior written consent of the Board. The Board may at any time require a Club, at its own cost, to submit a report from a qualified independent source certifying the pitch dimensions.
The Board may require a Club to take such steps as the Board shall specify if they are not satisfied that an adequate standard of pitch is being maintained, including but not limited to the Board commissioning an independent report on the state of the pitch. The cost of the independent report to be borne by the Club concerned.

Krooner - any possibility of the Frimley fixture being reversed on Saturday if Krooner Park is playable?

I honestly dont know mate but with our reserves away the pitch is free.  Was down there last Saturday and it would have been very touch and go if a game at Krooner Park would have gone ahead.

Any news on Worcester Park ground?

Normally, always one of the grounds with the best chance of being on. However, in recent weeks, they have had little luck with the weather. Will be there if Ash is off Saturday (which I am expecting). :(

Chris very very unlikely you will be here tomorrow, pitch flooded & not been able to mark it out today, bloody annoying tho as last night when I left the club around 4.30pm the pitch was playable, even after all the week's early rain, but seeing it today will need a good 12/24hrs dry weather which I doubt we will get.

Morning inspection Im guessing just waiting for our sec to tell us when
