Bit unfair on all though. One team has to play thurs and sat and we don't know when the game will be, this sat or next so can't advertise the game hoping for a decent gate. Come to Ampthill to watch us in the Vase... But we can't tell you when

3G is surely going to be the future for 'our' standard.

Our 3G is not the best, and I understand that the weather at the min is a bit 'freak' but last season it was the snow, season before that it's was something else. Cramming games in Saturday Tuesday Thursday Saturday ruins the season. We could've played on our 3G all (except one) Saturdays since beginning of December. There's surely got to be some sort of give with the league to where the catch up games are played

I think 3G is the way forward AS LONG AS it's not caged (like Maidestone of Harlow)

Difficult when we can't be sure when the game is and therefore can't promote it. Of course that's the case if it was postponed but at the moment we will have 48 hours notice if Thursday goes ahead.

Well firstly the FA should of said to both teams to play Thursday either on Maidstone or tootings 3G so Saturday would be possible for the 5tth round tie!!! The FA have had a month and so far have done nothing......

I think a lot of step 3/4 clubs would do it but until the conference allow them they will be few and far between.

Harlow isn't caged. Well, it wasn't when I went there when they hosted Ware this season.

Sorry, I meant Harlow and Maidestone are examples of clubs who aren't caged- which I like!!

We will struggle to get all our home games played I reckon with Barton being well behind also. Our 3G is 'caged' but when we get a crowd of 4 or 5 I'm not sure it matters so much.
