out on penalties.

cup of tea

Oh well, penalties are a lottery and it can't be helped. I believe that the opposition were near full strength so it was a good performance from the guys. Front two worked hard, Ricky had a great game and I think we played well. Hope Alex is okay. What on earth was that sending off for?

Would like to know what their sending off was for as well.

I can only guess was that he mouthed off at the ref because Braintree weren't getting their way. LOL.

Thought Hornchurch played extremely well tonight.

Does show how we can hold our own against a team in a higher league.....two leagues higher in fact!!

Penalties never our strong point.

Just the league to concentrate on then, lets make it a good end to the season!

Really well played against a full strength conf side. Some of the football we played was a joy to watch at times,Joey May in particular had a cracking game.

Their centre forwards gave our defence their hardest game to date,I've never seen us lose so many headers and Sod's law that's where their equaliser came from.

Thought we were desperately unlucky to go out.

Poor crowd by the way.

a great effort  to  hold on to the  cup  against a strong braintree team  thought we was just about   going to hold  on  for the win ,   shame  that alex was  more or less out of the game and in  trouble just before  the build up  to  braintree goal .... all played  for me leigh bremner our best player on the night  just about  run himself into  the ground   ....as for  the crowd well  the way  things  going we will only need a garden shed to put everyone in rather than stands  :(
