Irishadrian
Yes Good letter Lets hope it gets a prompt reply/acknowledgement It did however jolt my memory about an essential element of the plan that hasn't been mentioned for ages Does anyone know if Paradigm are still on board/commited? Last news I can find on their sites is 20 months ago.

Ian
I've long thought that all local parties, Labour included, are quite happy the issue has been kicked into the long grass. Nice and easy to blame central Government for nothing happening and saves them having to do anything.

Nice and easy to blame central Government for nothing happening and saves them having to do anything. If that's the case, it does seem rather strange given that the council have said they were very much pro Arbour Vale from the start, even including it in the Heart of Slough Project and having spent countless time/money on the project with SE. If it all goes bust, it will be interesting to see if the council stick to their guns and sue the government to recoup their losses. Any bets they don't? brighton_rebel
Just to bump it up Fiona Mactarggat says she gets 400 emails a day, so we need lots of people writing to her about this to show it is important to people of Slough and beyond. And don't forget to contact your local councillors too.

A Rebel and a Saint
I did get a reply from one of my councillors (not a positive one) and one from Rob Anderson (which sounded positive but had no real answers unfortunately). So nothing from the MP and nothing from two of my three councilors.
Sir Rebel1965
Maybe we need to put candidates up at the next council and general election to remind the voters what our MP and councillors think of STFC?
brighton_rebel
Saturdays article with a reply from Fiona Mctaggart and Steve Easterbrook http://sloughtownsoapbox.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/seven-year-itch.html
Rebel Sue
I take back my comment about Fiona's letter. I had another replay from her a couple of weeks ago and she said that the council is fully committed to getting Stfc back in Slough and so was she. I think the original letter was just a standard letter sent out until she could answer properly. So again I apologise Fiona.
Ian
Saying you are fully committed is just words though. Until we see some movement I'm sceptical about all politicians' supposed commitment to STFC.

Rebel Sue
Agree ian but my point was that the first letter was a standard letter which I called pointless but her second one was far more in depth hence my apology.
Don Juan DeMarcus
Completely agree with Ian here. Until bricks are being laid I'm not trusting any of their words. Especially with an election on the horizon.
