Watch the skullduggery, the F.A will do their best to save Corinthian Casuals.Shame they took so long to declare it though, bit like OLD NEWS on here. The correct Ground Grading will be used to the Letter for promotion to Step 4.

Disagree Smudge, they were happy to kick them out in the early 80s.

If there is anyone they will want to keep it is Walton & Hersham because of Theo Paphitis' sponsorship of the League. He is part owner (or similar) of Walton & Hersham and that's why Chatham and VCD play in Ryman North these days when the two Walton's should really have accompanied Guildford and Godalming into the Southern South & West.

As for teams moving, the key here will be what the FA does about the Southern Counties East (formerly Kent) League. How important is it that they have 22 teams like the rest? If they consider it vital as I believe they will, then Croydon are gone, plus AFC Croydon Athletic if they come up. There will be transfers from Sussex across, leaving them short, so I think Horley are more vulnerable, as are South Park if they don't go up.

Everything in the West of our catchment area will be determined by how far West our League moves as a result of the Eastern teams being transferred. By the time we are finished Epsom will be the furthest East of the League clubs, if we do not go up.

It looks as though Ashford Town are certainties to come down (sorry Lazarus) and I still think Chertsey, Casuals and Guildford are likely arrivals next season. If that is the case, Alton will probably go back to Wessex with Fleet as Sholing are definitely going back up from there, as if we move any more West, we'll squeeze the Wessex League out of Hampshire!

So the teams that could be moved, should look into a Groundshare for 1 season,at a more centrally located Club, that way the F.A. would move others, rather than shift them to a League that they have no affinity with.Lets say Croydon share with AFC Croydon at Mayfield Road, surely they would not move both to the SCEL?
